Would be worth buying to put in a hot chocolate or coffee so you don't waste the real stuff. Yum Baileys and Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. A real Christmas treat!!
Heat added.

Don't forget to decant it into an old Bailey's bottle in case you get guests. lol
I noticed this the other day when i had a look in there for the 1st time, pound dearer mind. What is their tackle like, alcohol wise, loads of stuff looked like copy spirits.
totally nice
I buy this as as can't tell the difference!
Got some from Lidl in Eastleigh, Hants but it was £3.99. Still a decent price though

I may be wrong but I thought this was £2.99 on the LIDL NI saturday special?/ Maybe some stores have reduced it early
Iwsc silver award winner apparently, hope it's nice
Just did a quick google and it's 70cl and 14.5%, tastes good as well apparently. Was posted ten days ago @ £3.99 and hit 236 degrees!

Bargain
Prefer Aldi's, but good deal
I seen this on the site, sooo very tempted but i never drink enought for it to be worth buying a bottle, never thought to post it tho, they have teh fancier irish cream liqeur for £4.99 down from £6.99 aswell.
at 2.99 its probably paint thinner with milk and a bit of mud
Not very good quality but for this price it's worth having for other uses than drinking neat, i.e. coffee, cheesecake, etc.

The initial taste you get from this stuff isn't a patch on the real deal.

You sad sad person
i got some of this this week
Im a huge Baileys fan and nothing beats the real thing but this is very nice and for £2.99 is a bargain! Bought a few for my Christmas house Party on Saturday
Very drinkable good price
it's ok. the ballycastle one at aldi is nicer imo
Bought 2 from Croydon today.... Didn't realise I was charged £3:99 per bottle!?
Gone up since Op posted??
£3.99 for me too
Is this made with Whiskey like Baileys or with wine like Carolans? I'm guessing at 14.5% its made with wine and won't be that close to Baileys in taste.
Uuum, course its the same. £3 versus £12 (best price for 1l Baileys)
Like 7p value beans taste like Heinz? 37p nasty cornflakes taste like Kellogs?
No they don't, and some peoples taste buds must be inactive if the price is cheap enough. It's branded for a reason you, because you pay for quality. Now go to your chav shops and carry your food out in Tesco bags so the neighbours don't know you're a tight @rsed peasant!

Thanks for your totally irrelevant response - Quality of ingredients and the resulting taste had feck all to do with my question on whether this is a whiskey or wine based drink (they taste completely different). Couldn't be arsed addressing your denigrating remarks, i just hope it made you feel good to try and belittle someone you don't know.
