Pulled pork, you say?

Yes indeed...

I'm fed up trying to get the offers. Went to 4 lidls last time and couldn't get them and ended up spending loads on petrol for nothing

Oh know that's too bad. I have noticed with the half price weekend offers that you need to get there really early or you miss out as stuff sells out fast...

This. The £1 mince usually sells out by 10 even though a whole fridge unit is rammed top to bottom with it. It also helps if your store is a bit stricter on the max 6 per customer thing. I heard one customer complain to staff there were no items left for the deals at 5pm on a Saturday. 5pm lol maybe they could have come slightly earlier.

The meat ones are the ones you might struggle to get though. All the rest is usually ok but depends on what it is, chocolate for example usually sells out and so does this coffee so if you want the meat and coffee aim for am rather than pm. There's always Sunday too.

Part of the problem is these deals keep getting posted on here. It reminds those with short memories that Lidl have these deals almost every week!

Tried that, I was there for 9.30am last time and only got one of the 3 offers I wanted. I was at the other 3 stores within an hour or so. So between 9.30am and 10.30am I was at 4 Lidls and only got one offer (from the first Lidl typically). I'm only going to visit one from now on as the petrol cost cancels out the savings of the things on offer.

Do Lidls get more of the offers delivered on a Sunday too then? I didn't know that, must try going on a Sunday next time .

Yes they do get another delivery for Sunday but it's best to get there for opening time when the fridges & shelves are being filled as people usually queue up prior to opening time...

It depends on where you live to be honest as Ipswich has lots after 12pm. I used to go to calcton on sea and the shelves used to be wiped out by 9:30 I blame the staff to be honest I used to see the guy who runs a cafe stocking up with well over the 6 limit and the staff did not bat an eye disgusting if you ask me. Safe to say I never used that cafe ever again as it shows no respect for other shoppers. I'll get some hate from saying that but it will probably be from people who order 10 on something they see on a glitch and end up getting it cancelled because of it and screwing other people over in the process

I guess location does make a difference. You're right about some staff not sticking to the 6 per person maximum which certainly makes it unfair on the rest. I don't blame you for boycotting that café. You have spoken the truth let the haters hate...

I tried that pulled pork the last time they had it on offer and tbh thought it was pretty awful.

TBH anything I've bought in the braemore range has been utterly revolting and has ended up in the bin

waiting for the mince to be on offer again i look every thursday at 12.01am well annoying seeing stuff i wont eat

You must have really busy stores near you! A store is allocated a set amount by their regional distribution centre and they do take note of how much and how quickly stuff sells so they may send a bit more next time. 8am may be your only guaranteed option. Yes there usually is a delivery on Sunday but it is nowhere near as much as Saturday. 10am is at least a more reasonable time to go!

I've seen some customers being just greedy and rude when staff mention it though. Some argue and say they should be allowed to buy as many as they want! I've seen people claim their baby is a customer so they should have another 6! It works both ways imo unfortunately so not just staff's fault. Our store is pretty good for it though especially with the meat.

At least the other thread includes the dates.
