Do these fit a full slice of bread or does the top inch not get toasted? Ill be tempted if the bread fits.
Has anyone used these? Need a new toaster

it's the all important question! I also need a new toaster - from reading reviews online Asda do a 4 slot "long-slot" toaster that will do this - tempted to get one of them.

Its incredible we have to ask this question, but it's true - most are awful and a standard slice of bread sticks out about 1 inch. Terrible design. Only came across this after my toaster died after about 10 years - cant fix the element, so Im going to buy the same again, which is a 4 slot long toaster (which the bread will toast properly!)
Its good
Got one today from Lidl.
The slots are not quite long enough to accommodate a standard slice of bread so I had to put the bread in longwise and the bread sticks out about an inch.
Also, uneven cooking on one side.
Horrible plastic smell when I first used it, hope it will go away with use.

Overall, it's ok if you can only afford £10 for a toaster, otherwise I'd rather pay a little extra for a better toaster.

Thanks for the feedback.
I’ll look out for a better one hopefully!
