Yah, it's one's favourite place to shop. Although they do have an dim idiot working on the tills there, always making mistakes. Recently unemployed, they are giving him a chance...

For those who havent tried them, think "Yorkshire tea"; these are a strong brew, in fact one bag will make a nice cuppa in my litre sized mug.

Great tea for a quality brew.

That good, eh? I'll give them a try but not in a litre mug. I like it strong with a small dollop of milk.

Anybody know if Lidl also use a large amount of plastic in their tea bags?

Certainly can't be worse than the appalling Morrisons tea !
I may give them a try if they're near Yorkshire tea standards.
Personally I only get Twinings breakfast tea at the minute and only when they're on a deal - ridiculously expensive otherwise

Knightbridge is a Lidl own brand, they also do a range of speciality teas, the Rooibos is one of the best you can buy - and I have tried most of the Rooibos brands on sale in the UK.

For balance, I will say Waitrose own brand Rooibos is also pretty good.

My only gripe with Lidl Red Label is that it no longer comes foil wrapped, so you have to be careful storing any bags that dont fit in your tea caddy. (used to be 2x40 foiled wrapped packets inside the cardboard packaging).

We use these- very nice. Also, I thought I'd dreamt that the Lidl half price weekend offers were back, as I remember them ending about a year ago, so Hurrah to that! Love it when I can combine a money off coupon with weekend offers
