Just WOW - I LOVE mulled wine & Gin so a Gin that you can serve warmed sounds amazing & is definitely one I shall be imbibing after Carol singing this Christmas! Thinking about it, might be better for me to have a tipple before I sing - may well change my voice from chalk scraping on a blackboard to Kylie Minogue

From this weekend Lidl will be stocking their shelves with the rather scrummy sounding Hortus Plum & Cinnamon Gin Liqueur priced at just £11.99 - my new festive favourite combines plum with warming spices, including ginger, nutmeg & cinnamon

Lidl recommend that you serve the gin liqueur hot as you would Mulled Wine but if you just want a cocktail they suggest combining the liqueur with cloudy apple juice, star anise, cinnamon and a squeeze of honey.

Either way it sounds delicious & I'm actually doing a little dance of joy

For anyone who wants gin rather than liqueur you could do worse than trying Aldi's Spiced Plum and Clementine gin.

37.5% and 70cl for just £2 more than this.

cant wait to start drinking again next weekend woohoo
Thanks for posting however due to the low abv for Gin Liquer (which rarely gets mentioned as it puts some people off buying including myself!) I’ll stick to wine and the real stuff, flavoured Gin...

You can serve pretty much anything warm. It's not that new or different.

Never really thought about it that way, Mmm.... Can't wait for a nice hot pint of Stella later

More alcopops!
Just don't take anyone else with you when you try to buy this and even if you are clearly a pensioner with a zimmer frame, you will still need ID to prove you are old enough to buy it, and even then they might still refuse to sell it to you !

Sounds ridiculous but surely there is another side to the story
Is from the 22nd for anyone who wants / needs to know
Picked one up this morning and there was plenty still on the shelf but no ginger flavour in stock
