These are cheap but unfortunately not very good, assuming the design hasn't changed since last year... Just clamping the 150mm or 300mm clamps with 'normal pressure' is enough to break them... and the smaller version is even more fragile.

I strongly recommend looking beyond Lidl and Aldi for these clamps (The Irwin Minis are much better, for instance)

Wife keeps saying I need to get a grip 😁

She’s clamping down on you again?

I tried these for holding a steering wheel controller to a desk before I got a stand for it.

One of them broke pretty quick ….

Cheap but that's what you get. If you're not expecting much from them then they are a good price. Aldi do a similar set for £4.99 - there is another deal on here for them.

I bought these a couple of years back and have rusted and nowhere near as much clamping force as my Irwins which are still going strong coming on for 20 years.

I have both the Lidl and Aldi ones. Although I prefer the quick-release mechanism in the Aldi ones, I find both to be satisfactory.
I'm sure that Irwins are better - but at a price.

Also second your recommendation,we use the Irwin's at work and they are very robust
I bought some of these a few months ago, no complaints so far
The squeeze spring clamps do a better job than these small ones, these small bar clamps are so pointless and will break if u apply too much pressure
I got irwins and these. Personally both about the same.

That’s good to know. I think the ones I refer to have double the clamping force and you can get them singly
