Lidl Outlet is back (was Bargain Base) in Lincoln (Local Deal !)

Found 19th Nov
Anyone who went to the old Bargain Base in Lincoln would know how rubbish it was , huge boxes full of hundreds of items, and took hours to go though if you had the patience !

Well now its had a makeover and re-opned as a proper Lidl Outlet, all items have there own section and its way better than before, its all very neat and easy to navigate

Its also open all week not random times like before , 10-4 everyday located in the St Marks shopping centre, next to Homebase and Topps Tiles

Basically its any items from the weekly specials , prices start from 50p

Some highlight i saw yesterday

3m Parasol £7.50
Hauk Pushchair £15
Parkside Pressure washer patio attachment £1
Clothes £1
Kids Suitcase (like Trunkie) £3.50
Set of utility knives £1

These 2 are back in BBC iPlayer

Looks like Lidl are trying to start their own take on Argos clearance stores. I don't see the stock being that massive though. They used to hold a few 'events' in the middle isle to shift the stock at some stores around this time of year, but it was more split-up geographically.

It has been back for nearly a year now and it is still the same old rubbish but at a higher price.
And still the same people waiting at the doors each morning to see what they can find to sell on eBay.
They are actually open 9:00 - 18:00. And all items sold only have a 30 day warranty. Something to consider when buying electrical items which are only a few quid cheaper than the ones in the proper store with 3 years warranty.

Got a Vileda easy wring turbo mop for my mum a couple of weeks ago- £7.50 in Lidl Outlet, £25 in Argos! Also, they have wine which is £3 a bottle, and Champagne/Sparkling Wine for £3.50 a bottle - got some of the Cote de Nuits Village wine, was £10.99 I think in regular Lidl stores!

2 of my local Lidls have done the big boxes instore, you can pick up some good bargains, only problem is they were never advertised so luck of the draw if you just happened to walk in, I asked one of the assistants why aren't they advertised and he said because they don't know until the delivery wagon turns up the night before.

Is it a proper Bargain Base or just a normal store with boxes every now and then?

I disagree, its only been a Outlet for 2 or 3 months (was bargain base before) , i got some good bargains ,items looked very well priced, the opening times on the doors say 10-4 and this also says on the website
