No, the one I bought a couple of years ago didn't.

At the price I would be surprised if it had but I was hoping

Also the one I have is very noisy, it almost sounds like the bearings have gone but it all works okay and I'm not overly concerned as it has the three year warranty, whether mines a one off or they're all noisy I don't know.

Safer handling apparently, instead of jerking as it tries to hit full speed from a cold start it slowly ups the power and speed.
There's a community app for that. For all your d.i.y needs 33631902-EX1HY.jpg
I got suckered in by the 3 yr g'tee it sounds bloody aweful - as bad as the old one I was replacing.
It's 230mm , 9 inch steel cutting discs are about £1.50 each ebay.

Cheers for that just realised I didn't mention the start date.Updated deal
Bought it last night, the last one in stock of the 3 stores I went too xD
Much bigger than I thought it was. I am use to the smaller Sliverline grinders, this thing is massive compared.

Don't buy the small blades for it, they are for the small grinder. They will fit onto this grinder but you wont be able to cut very deep as the gear head is quite large.

Stick with the 230mm disks. They have diamond cutter disk and pack of "6-piece set of 3x Metal Cutting, 2x Stone Cutting and 1x Metal Grinding Discs".
Looks like you can use the other accessories, not 100% sure yet though. Will be having a play later today.

Ps, yes it is slow start.

Yes it does. Bought mine on Thursday but took it back today, Damn thing was far too heavy and the 125mm (This one goes up to 220mm) discs looked lost, Basically I could see my work piece because of the huge disc guard.
