Got this offer some months back and so far so good. I do aggree an app to check your account etc is better.

this is on the hot deals sim only thread, where I got it. switched from Virgin, I'd say the Internet is noticeably faster even though it's the same network. amazing deal very happy with it, probably deserves it's own thread heat

I've got 3 sims from life mobile...it was fantastic at first but recently noticed internet drop off, 3G going off and phone cuts out on some calls. Automatically cuts call more than 1hr regardless if you have mins.

I've been with Life Mobile for six months and over the last few weeks the call quality and the ability to connect calls has dropped. I can make calls about 50% of the time, even with a good signal.
Data is also now an issue: Previously EE was the fastest network around here, but now the data appears to be throttled a lot. It's very similar to giffgaff's data - most of the time it just doesn't connect, and speed test results are typically 1-3mbps download and 0.6mbps upload.

It's so bad that I've requested my PAC from Life Mobile and will be leaving them next week.

This probably indicates that i isn't comerciallu viable to run a service lke this at this price point. It sounds to me like they were banling on extra subs to make it profitable but without thr investment to cope with it. I could be completely wrong though.

i got 7mb download at lunchtime in central London. gaffgiff gets me 0.01 if lucky! hot

I agree, I have been with them 7 months & people can't get through to me, I can't make calls, Texts don't get in or out. Texts arrive hours late, getting worse & have reported this on more than 3 occasions to Life Mobile with report on calls, Texts Etc but they always say 90% of the time is all they guarantee for call quality , signal, Etc. I am going to leave also but just need to find an equivalent deal with a better signal / Service, Etc.

LIFE also do a credit check for those of you who need to keep their credit record perfect.

I would give them a try, I live in Brighton, and the EE signal is quite good. But will leave it, as it is only 3g

Just had a live chat with them about 4G, and here is a quote "We have no plans to introduce 4G to all customers , However, after 6 clear payments/ once the 7th bill has generated; you'll have the option to upgrade where 4G will be available"

Did you wait the 48 hours after delivery as in the instruction they delay the activation by that time but you can have it connected in the hour if you phoned them.

You have to call them and they will switch you on the next month.

We've had a phone with them for about 6 months now. I have no complaints, and customer service is the best I've had when ringing through with any queries - very fast to answer the phone. - Voted Hot by me!

I've voted hot I was on life for 6 months never had a problem, 3g let it down for me so switched 2 ee on the 19.99 offer with £88 cash back now get super fast 4g

I can barely use data today on Life Mobile is throttled so much!

I've been with them since February was with giffgaff but I found the 3g speeds on life were much faster than 4g with giffgaff with both phones on full signal, can't say that I've experienced any of the problems others are talking about with day data speeds slowing down

Might be a problem with the local mast as I've just done a speed test and it's around the same as it was when I first joined, 13 Mbps download

UK based and reasonable service. Had for a few months. No complaints apart from only 3g slow at times.

If you go onto their webpage you have the option to "Live Chat" & change to the better tariff. I did this a couple of days ago.

My colleague who sits right next to me has this (on a G5) and I have EE bought direct (in an S6) - in the centre of Leeds I get 20mb and she barely gets 0.2mb, most of the time it times out trying to find a connection and reports network error

had life mobile which i struggled with.. got a deal with ee and calls and texts can get through as well as data finally.
i though at least calls should be unaffected... but it was.
but the deal itself is great so heat.
reception not so much.
on a side note, customer service is UK based and they are really nice and helpful.

Recommend LIFE Mobile, I'm a light user so went with their £4.95 a month deal and it's been excellent so far.

Me and my significant other have been with life mobile for 3/4 months. Cannot grumble, now and again call doesnt connect properly but had that with o2 and vodafone. You have to be mental not to join at this price!!

Another thumbs up from me. Been with them 9 months and have had no problems at all. Great data speeds and really efficient and friendly call centre.
