I have not voted but could someone tell me why would anyone pay this kind of money considering all the options on the market, including Hue etc? This not a "bulbs shouldn't cost more than £1" comment, genuinely interested in its functions and capabilities.
I personally own a lifx bulb and recommend them my room is quite big so I need it to be really bright since I do drawing, projects etc...
The 1100 lifx a19 was on sale for 30 on amazon

Well, not my experience at all. Bought 2 of them almost 3 years ago... one of the bulbs stopped working, contacted support and they replied on the same day... tried a couple of things with them (reboot, reset) and when they checked that the bulb was dead they sent me a new one for free within a couple of days (the bulb was out of warranty).

i have 9 Novastella bulbs that i bought in packs of 3 each 3 pack cost me less than 1 of these bulbs to do the same amount with these your upto £360 compared to under £100

and it says a lot for a £40 bulb if it suddenly stops working my original 3 pack of novastella bulbs are still going a couple of years later

a lot of complaints are of bulbs failing and not connecting it doesn't persuade me to part with £40 for one but if your happy with them
