offer instore as well

Right will give wickes a visit later on. Hopefully they'll have the offer in my local store.

Do they sell any extremely bright CFL bulbs? Seems cant find one. I have been struggling to find 55w=300w ones anywhere in store.

Does anyone sell the bright white light energy bulbs (like the old style 100w bulbs) . I go abraoad and see them everywhere dirt cheap, yet we only seem to be offred soft/yellow type energy bulbs which are fineif you want 50 for 99p but they are not all that!

Yep, try homebase - they have an energy saving equivalent of a 120w lightbulb (bayonet and twist) -I use it as the main light, it's very bright, and doesn't seem yellow tinged to me. Every time I've been in they've been half price (around/under £2.99 I think), the box says it's the equivalent of two 60w bulbs in one. HTH.

Cracking - picked up 12 GU10 50W Halogens for £3 - B&Q wanted £6 for just two! (OK OK I only need one, but still...)
