hi mate, please check your shipping address is UK

It is, I have previous orders.
It appears in the shipping address, then there is a cart summary and then a shipping and delivery section where it says "No Shipping Method Available At This Time" even allowed popups and removed adblocker, worked with MS Edge.

Just over £800 with possible 10% cashback for the i7 with 16GB ram.

Fairly easy to convert. Involves using the Windows Media Creation Tool to create a Windows installation media. Then install using it. I would prefer to do this anyway to have a clean Windows 10 install.

I've actually got the Redmi 4x, which is 5.0 inch and 1280 x 720 but still a very nice screen. The one here is the NOTE 4x which has the bigger screen with higher res. The camera's okay I guess, not on a par with Samsung or Apple but I'd say it's better than the Moto G (looking at examples).

Have a look at Xiaomi's website and browse through all the phones and their specs.

How long does delivery normally take from this website?

Read very negative comments about dafang camera.

I bought the Jumper EZ Book 2 about 8 months ago for around $170 - now it is totally dead and Gearbest only offered $60 credit NOT cash or I could return it to China at my risk and expense for repair. I had treated it with great care and it was never dropped or mistreated but it is now totally dead. I took the cash.
Never again.

Disappointed HUKD staff still frantically posting Chinese deals without a "Chinese seller Health Warning " .

OK it's "Buyer Beware" but some members are not as savvy as others . Being posted by an HUKD Mod/Editor implies to many that these deals are endorsed /recommended by HUKD

You bought insurance, not a guarantee duty won't be charged so I expect the insurance is for them to reimburse you in the event you do get charged duty? I think most people know what they're getting themselves into when buying Chinese and figure that the reward generally outweighs the risk.

m8 i buy from china all the time but the reviews for this site are really bad

I got mine from Ali express for £81 international version. White front pink back 3/32gb.

My advice would be to get the note 4x. I had that and I cracked the screen so opted for a smaller one. I have noticed it Lags a lot more and the front camera isn't as good in comparison.

Just little things though, for the price you're paying it's a great deal. I don't understand how people spend so much on iPhones and Samsung's when these are available. Nuts.

Phone is excellent. Moved from a Samsung Note 3 and loving this one. Faster, great screen and fingerprint unlock is great.

Voted 🔥 OP!
I have been looking at this and the essential (which is about £70 more but a safer buy from Amazon USA).
I think this looks better but the essential would hold its value better and is more likely to receive updates.
Also like the Huawei mate 10 pro, which will be available in this country, so will also have manufacturing warranty, but will also cost a lot more. Decisions, decisions.........

This is a good price for this phone. Yes there are risks with buying from any of these Chinese sellers but the risks are similar with most the sellers. On that basis have some heat

Well mine arrived fine, refund from the duty / import all went fine too. They actually raised a ticket for me beforehand.
Install Windows Home fresh install. I tried single language language but it wouldnt activate and said it should be windwos 10 home. All activated fine for me.

Exceptional notebook for the money. Impecable customer service too, really straightforward. Took about a 8 days from ordering to it being in my hand.
I would recommend.

Quick update:
Before reinstalling windows, activate Office 16 and link it to your live account. This will allow you to use it after you reinstall windows!

You might get a region error when activating Office initially but Microsoft support can unlock the region on the online customer support chat window.

Just checked myself and unfortunately it looks like this was a Black Friday offer. The price is indeed now showing at £55

Thanks for the response. You've not answered my question. I would like it here in the public forum rather than private.

So I would say if anything they could be pretty crappy, but not a clear con. I ordered through Paypal which hopefully offers some protection.

Yes! The items were crappy. When I gave negative reviews they were removing it everytime. That's the con.

Another Giant Phone! This one is at least from a "Reputable" brand. I'm tempted, TBH. No Band 20, though. not sure that will affect me on 3, but I've read conflicting information.

The £449 would have been for the Mi Mix 2, not Mi Max 2.
Mi Max 2 has never been that price. You can get it for around this price at the usual places, GearBest, Geekbuying, BangGood etc.

got the mi max 1 and ove it this is a great price for mi max 2

WOW!!! Very tempting...
