They always are on Amazon, they always seem to be from:

I was sent this to review in exchange for my feedback

Another example of: give folk a free cable for a good Amazon review. Stamp your brand name on a 99p cable and sell for more. I may be wrong but......
Got mine from this seller a while ago. Brilliant product! Works like the original thing.

The reviews sound suspect - many of them said they received the cable for free in return for writing a review. I'd wait until we see some real reviews in 6 months time before buying this. I've been burnt by these £2 Chinese cables before - all of them lasted less than a month.
Pay the money and get anker can't go wrong then.
I find it hard to understand the Apple company: has it certified this cable as okay instead of its own £15 cable that it tells everyone they must use (and apparently has put a chip in to catch people out). It is hard to follow the logic.

I've been using cables from Poundland for a while now (with no recent failures), but I'll certainly try one of these when I next order something from Amazon, so heat added.

Thanks, bought 5
Remember this an add on item and you can't use it to get over the £20 mark.

Are you sure, I thought that was the point of add on items

I just bought some add on items to take me over the £20 limit, so yes, the statement is wrong.
Upon entering Amazon I found my basket was already half full, after meandering for a while I reappeared £63 lighter. Nice find thanks penny
For those that want something really tough......
Hmm! MFI certified - if it's anything like their flat pack furniture it'll be rubbish!

All Apple MFI certified leads have an authentication chip in them, like this... http://zeusme.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Certification-Chip-Apple-Cable-without-logo.jpg
Apple themselves will change their cable foc if it goes wrong. Each and everyone of Apple's cables also have a serial number printed on the cable.
I like Apple less and less when I hear of putting needless chips in cables. I wish I had known about the company changing lightning cables free of charge earlier, the originals with our iphone and ipads lasted hardly any time at all.

With you on this. The amount of money I wasted on the £1 shops ones thinking 'maybe this one will be better'! Brought 2 Anker ones for a few quid and not let me down.
Sold by LMFAO - must be good then
