Should work fine spliced to a couple of yellow and blacks of a PC PSU.

I have this. Brilliant piece of kit.

Cheers op Bought as a chrissie pressie

didn't want it, but bought it oO

OOooooh damn you HUKD's

This is better than the toy Henry

Will this be more powerful than my handheld Dyson. Worried 12v won't give it enough suction?

Doubt it. It's only rated at 11 airwatts. The Dyson is probably double. But also much more expensive.

Could get a converter and use it in the home.... amazon.co.uk/s/r…12V

This is without a doubt the best purchase I have made for my car, got one of these about 6 months ago and it keeps my car spotless! Picks up everything you would need for the interior of a car, mud, dirt, small stones, hay, crumbs, etc.

Not much suction compared to a household vacuum, a lot of reviews seem to put the unit down for this, despite it being powerful enough for any car interior use!

Highly recommended especially at this price!!

One of the Amazon questions:

Mains adapter reccomendation?
Can anyone reccomend one that won't melt? I'm struggling to find one that will work with this device (12v 8 amps)

answers:

Hi -the model I have is for use with a cigarette llighter socket. If you have the same one, please DON'T try to connect to the mains, as the current is different. It is lucky you escaped with just a melted adaptor. I would advise checking with a qualified electrician before going any further.

£28.59 now.

is that Still a reasonable price?

" have ordered- thanks op. I hope it can reach the places my Dyson home vac can't. Getting the dyson out and manoeuvering it around the car on a gravel driveway is a pain so I hope this will make that side of life easier!

same boat unfortunately. Love these types of things and at the price its daylight robbery

Did I really need this. Damn hotukdeals.

Ordered this within a minute of stumbling on the deal. Damn this site!

£30 now.

on the wait list now

I hoover my car annually... if that. Bought this out of guilt and now my car looks like I hoover every week!

Very happy with this, the cable reaches right to the back of my car rather long too.

Expired

is 30 still worth?

caevv

wondering the same myself

I've bought it at 30, the reviews are very good

easier just getting a cordless one with the built in rechargeable battery so your not just restricted to using in the car battery socket. I have had a cordless black and decker 18v for years and it was great for the car and in the house..... on the look out for a new one now as the battery doesn't last long now. but seen loads about with 12v all around £30 mark, sure I seen one in aldi last week with the battery pack and was 12v!

Reviews indicate that it won't work as its too powerful. Would have to spend upwards of £30 for one that would work.

Banned

Have one currently boxed up to return - bought it based on all the reviews on Amazon, and terribly disappointed. Maybe mine was somehow defective, but just did not seem to do anything. I could have picked up more dust and dirt myself with a straw. (absolutely no innuendo intended)
But in reality how could something powered off the cigarette lighter possibly do anything useful?
