for that price I'd want a 2TB portable drive (2.5)

I voted that one hot, but this one cold.

this is surely crazy - just checked and i posted a deal for a 2TB WD external drive for a tenner less..... over 5 years ago!

What would be better for Storing and playing PC games from? this one or the slimline 2.5" deal, as far as i can see this one is 7200RPM and that one is 5400RPM, but this ones mains and bigger, Not fussed about size but performance. anything else I should know?

Gave a more detailed answer in the other thread but the short answer is this one, the desktop drive. That said I think this is a poor price for a desktop drive so I'd shop around as you could probably get cheaper or a 3 or 4TB for not that much more.

Voting this one cold as it's dear for a desktop 2TB drive IMHO. I know storage prices are lousy lately but a lightening deal should be something special, which this is not....

 if you want a faster portable drive then the Seagate xbox 2.5" drive is just a 2tb portable drive but it's 7200rpm, it's also green

Seagate = cold
