*Update* Brushed steel sold out, white available here.

Been looking for this bundle since December, have finally found an excellent price. This is the link (hub) that is Apple compatible, and this system has very good reviews, and is backwards compatible with the generation 1 LightwaveRF kit.

Does this work with any old bulbs?

I was thinking of including a write up, but it's a big area. I'm gutting and rewiring my house, so have researched these a lot, and spoken with LightwaveRF about compatibility.

I suggest Google for reviews, but:
You simply replace your old dimmers and this should work.
If using LEDs, use their compatibility chart (this generation 2 is "smart series" in their chart).
Be aware that this requires a 35mm back box.
I like lightwaveRF a lot but it’s ludicrously expensive. Surely it would be more profitable to reduce the cost but make it ubiquitous than it is it keep prices prohibitivky high and the product exclusive.
My gripe exactly.
Do they need their own hub? Already have a Hue Hub, Nest Hub and Hive Hub - are any of them compatible?
This deal includes the hub (link plus).
I have LifewaveRF V1 all over my house after a rewire 4 years ago.

Really good for what I need it for. have many timers and events and just love it.

Do you use IFTTT, something else or the Lightwave app for this? Can you give some examples, and how difficult it is to set up?
I use the lightwave app, or website as they have a portal. The events and timers are saved to the HUB, the HUB can be controlled from the app wither in house, or via the LW server if remote.

I can setup an event which is a sequence of device actions with delays and then set them to fire at set times.

For example.
DUSK Event is
Porch Light on
Lamps on (Various rooms)
this fires automatically at dusk (Dusk time set automatically based on the date) with delays between devices.

Time at 00:30 turns stuff off at random delays (In case of holiday etc)

I like the system as it is a simple replacement of face plate sockets and switches. No stupid bulbs to configure and then remembering to leave the wall switches on like with other systems
I have lightwaverf for lighting, power and heating, then I have Smartthings for everything else eg. TV, doors, water sensors and siren. has worked quite well for over 5yrs. My only complaint is the Android app is very poor, it disconnects to the hub but you can never tell, except that nothing happens when you press buttons. you will have to restart the app, log out and relogin for things to work. Also my very old first gen hub works a treat, but needs rebooting after every disconnection, or when wifi goes and come back, it cant auto reconnect, but I plan to upgrade soon. Old dimmers are a pain with LEDs, they should sell thos for £5 imho.
