Wouldn't buy anything with BT logo on it. It costs a packet to have the things on the mains. Burn a hole in your electricity bill. Siemens is different.
It looks super tacky....
used to work for the company that distributes these, utter **** don't waste your money.
Voted hot just for looking super cool
Reminds me of Mary Poppins, when Mr banks rings the police x
Clueless as to why this is cold. As previously mentioned it's about £10 cheaper than the next best price available. Was about to order at £39.99 then saw your post for another £4 off. Cheers babyface_snoop!
Its not that, its because many grown men are on the dole still and live at home with there mummy, so they dont need a house phone or cant afford a phoneline. And another reason is that people tend to use there mobiles instead of house phones in this era of time And just so you know, it went cold way before I even said anything :)
Yes but the PS3 would be popular at £50, whereas your thread is not. Maybe a game shop would actually be just the right place for you, I find most of the staff in them to be odd and don't want to listen!
If I worked in a gameshop and I was known to be a right ******* but I had a PS3 selling as new for £50 people wouldn't care about making friends with me, they would just want the god damm PS3 for 50 smackers lol
Link? That was then this is now. I got a F3 1TB hdd for £44 inc delivery on here but now its over £100 oO
so which manufacturer makes the best handsets?
not voting as these can be limited, all you need is sip router and plenty out there around £50 with enormous config you can get them to do what ever you want it for, I have a baby cisco unit at home and been using for over 4 years and I probably saved a small fortune on my international calls. even PAP routers can be configured in many ways so you can have 2 sip accounts and route them the way you want to route them ! With also this way you can use any cordless phone of your preference other than this hideous siemens piece of junk ( Panasoinic and Siemens OMG they still in the last century with their designs and their functionality. Before anyone starts yadi yada I should know as I should know due to the fact I get involved in alot of technology projects with siemens.
I use SIP Provider one for incoming on an 0207 number I have. I use another SIP Provider for low cost outgoing calls. I do not want to reciver calls on the second provider only route outbound calls. I do not want to send outbound calls to the first provider for incoming calls. How do the phones work for incoming calls can I set up rules so only all phone ring on incoming PSTN calls and only selects phones ring for my SIP 0207 number's incoming call? I've heard the Gigasets are really good. How is the user interface? good price, OP heat added. Might be worth changing the title / first post to explain this is NOT A NORMAL DECT PHONE but a combined Landline/Cable phone with SIP gatway built in. Comparable to the more expensive Panasonic. "The Siemens A580 DECT IP Phone is the latest addition to the Gigaset range of cordless dual mode phones. As with the S685IP and C475IP, the new A580 base station can be connected to both a standard landline and Broadband for IP/Internet Calls. Up to 6 handsets can be registered to the base station and it allows two internet calls as well as a landline call to be made at the same time. As VOIPTalk says..
I also have the s685, but had to switch off the info service which killed my network connection.
I have the 685IP model, which i can tell is fantastic. Sipgate is way costlier if you are going to call someone's normal phone.... I use localphone.com which is far cheaper than Sipgate...
these are top notch phones, best on which, most of the siemens score over panasonic, dont understand the cold votes, great spec house phone! please put why if voting cold, thanks
I hope they are better than the rubbish Siemens phones that I purchased and sent back. Replaced with Panasonics, pure quality.
works out at £62.40 with quidco, just ordered, great reviews, free delivery as well, great deal i think?
wireless extensions as in the handsets?,yeah the handsets have speaker phone function,if you look at the image posted its the button just above the green answer button, use mine all the time as i cant be arsed to hold the phone.
Yes it's landline only, I copied a wrong description from somewhere so corrected it.
Has the item description changed now - I thought when I looked originally it stated this was the C475 IP - but on the Ligo site that model is more expensive. Is this model is landline only ( i.e no VOIP as well ?)
Can anyone confirm whether the wireless extensions have a speakerphone facility, or is is just the wired base stattion ?
Yup ,great phone's,bought 3 pairs of these from Ligo over the past year ,for my home, work place and my parents,on one the loud speaker packed up,but ligo sent a new one really fast. there is/was a £5 off next pruchase code, well was when i bought mine.
Ordered it last week, but received completely wrong phone! Ligo sent Siemens instead and no way to contact their customer services it just goes to voice mail, totally useless.
Bought these as a quad set about a month ago.....They are brilliant, good sound quality and very easy to set up the phonebook which you can then transfer to all the phones at the touch of a button. All in all, a brilliant buy!!
Ah, you'll be refering to the 4.5/5 stars it gets, or perhaps the 91% of people who would recommend this store out of 1515 reviews via Kelkoo? 91% is quite a big percentage, but of course you'll go and hunt down the few complainers...... See here link
Hmmm, some very bad reviews for this company.
Oh. Maybe I was too subtle?
You damn right
"not one to blow my own horn but crank_that you have gone and done it again :) " :w00t: :w00t:
i just got one for £30 using a code hope there phones are not **** looks so nice
Bought a Philips phone not that long ago and it is total crap! Everyone I speak to think I am in a tunnel...the sound quality is truly awful, and £45 for a single handset is pretty expensive!! ...well done for posting such a crappy deal though! :)
