Like Data?100GB £30pm 12 Months with Three HomeFi *INSTORE ONLY*

I live in the sticks and had thought about buying several 30GB data contracts with the likes of EE or Three or Vodafone. EE used to do 100GB for £75 but discontinued their router package. No one else got near it with 40GB on Three being the best deal.

As of Friday past Three have released a new contract offer on HomeFi. A 4G Huawei Router with 100 GB of data for £30 pm. Usually £45 but currently discounted as it is a new offer. I know there will be folk out there using the all you can eat data on three with a VPN to disguise their internet use but for those that don't want the hassle, here is your solution. Getting about 15Mbs where I would usually be lucky to hit 2Mbs on ADSL.

Delighted is an understatement.

The kit/sim can be used abroad for upto 12GB. You also get the binge features too!

Only available instore and in selected stores.

Voted hot cos people are thick and don't understand.
Thank goodness we don't offer the British public a referendum on important stuff.

Er. Oh.

100gb home broadband? Stupid. Needs to be unlimited. It's 2017 not 1997

If you were using 100gb per month in the days of 56k dial up then you're speaking tosh. I bet you weren't even born then.

If it was unlimited it wouldn't be £30. Can you see how this works?

And then your vpn costs on top? You cannot tether beyond 30GB with three unless you use a VPN to disguise your traffic from your home LAN. Unless of course you are talking about unlimited data on your mobile only - which this is not - it is instead of home ADSL or Fibre. Most Satellite or comparable products in the UK offer 50GB or less pm with high latency. 100GB pm for £30 is a steal and includes a £120 LTE router. It is also only a 12 month commitment which is unusual for a mobile operator contract these days.

£30 for 100GB seems reasonable compared to the current 3 HomeFi options at £24 for monthly 40GB three.co.uk/Dis…eFi

more realistic than Sky's 25gig fibre.
This seems a viable option. Baring in mind the cheapest BT fibre is £25 a month and only gives you 25gb, I can get 80mbps down / 20mpbs up with 3, so faster than fibre too
I reckon 100gb should be enough. That's 3gb a day, I don't stream a lot of tv.

No idea why this is cold, this is a great deal.

Even on a big discount EE is 30GB for £15 a month minimum.

Bear in mind the 4G router is worth a bit too.

I want to like that comment multiple times! True and funny!
Nearly two whole PlayStation or Xbox games.
ee 30GB for £15 everyone rating really hot, this is 100GB for £30 and its cold, where I am in Shropshire, I get roughly similar speeds on ee & 3 and I may as well be on a dial up system for my phone/internet, so this is really HOT (and I got on the ee £15 deal last year)

Describe your setup, I'm intrigued. That and the fact you have BT Fibre. How much of the internet do you need?

EE dongle + the one plan SIM. I don't have BT fibre anymore. It's woeful. Stalk much?!

So how will this box disguise your internet usage ?

It doesn't. But I knew someone out there would claim they had unlimited data with three but tethering is limited to 30gb unless you disguise the traffic with a vpn. The guy above appears to have an old one plan which used to offer unlimited tethering but it was discontinued years ago and is not available.

Care to post a link to this deal? Perhaps a link to a fully functioning DeLorean? Or perhaps you are just boasting about a deal not realistically available to anyone now (that is likely being misused if tethered & unlimited which is the point of this deal) & really need to jog on?
Folks sorry for being a bit thick, but would O2’s WiFi call work on the iPhone 7 while connected to this over wifi? The Three website is a little confusing. Many thanks.

Should work fine.
Many thanks. Do we know when this offer ends? I’ll head to a Three store today.
I got this on the 40GB £24/month 30 day contract in-store last Sunday. Its great, thought also worth bearing in mind "all you can binge" is included so you can stream Netflix without using your allowance. Speeds are great!
Picked this up today at the Gyle in Edinburgh. £30 for 100GB a month. Perfect!
Now £25

You're talking about a mobile phone sim plan with no device. 30GB hotspot and up to 100gb data for your phone at £25pm. This is a plan that is 100gb data hotspot with 4g router £30 per month. Still a good deal though.
Ok it's not great for Netflix addicts but if your simply working from home, checking emails and watching the odd bit of YouTube etc then it's a bargain. Keeping in mind that's an all in cost, totally portable and no line rental needed

Wait: you're using a mobile phone SIM in a dongle? How did you pull that off? Mind posting a link to a guide or something? How do you stop them finding out?

I'll correct that to a decent signal, normally by a window on the top floor
Very interested in this but when I click through there's only £24 for 40GB available. Am I missing something or has it gone?

Went to two London stores and was told it's a LIMITED TRIAL at SELECTED POSTCODES. Alas, I'm not eligible.
