Are these any good? Love scented candles had a Jo Malone for Christmas after everyone raving about them and I was really disappointed by it, I found Yankee to be the best but the fragrances of these look good but don't want to buy if they don't smell when you light them?

I prefer these to Yankee Candles - they are in a tin ( so no blackened glass - like I find happens with the Yankee ones ). The fragrances are lovely - I prefer the fruity ones - Mango Fandango is nice. Fairy Dust and Blush have a more subtle scent and not so strong smell when being burnt. Hope this helps - enjoy !

Never heard of this range and I love candles so am intrigued! Have gone off yankee. They def smoke and make a mess.

Had one of these as an xmas gift was a 'fairy dust' one..it caught fire when it got to the bottom..whole tin went up..was black and the label ash..scorched a ring on the unit it was on..never had this with other candles..maybe mine was just a dodgy one but please be careful x

Mine normally go out straight away when there's no wax left and it reaches the base of the tin. Also, the tin needs to be sat on a heat resistant surface ( may have stopped the scorching of your unit ). Full instructions in lid. Did you contact Lily Flame? They're normally quite good - I had a problem where one wasn't burning properly ( just burning down in the middle ) and they replaced free of charge.

Have a look at reviews - try amazon.co.uk - IMO, you won't be disappointed !

please check out harpers bizarre candles from hull.. they are the strongest candles i have ever come across.. they are made with soya wax instead of parrifin wax so no black smoke and have just been given a vegan award x
