The Nintendo 3DS XL features a longer battery life than the 3DS and even includes a 4GB SD card, which you can use to store content from the Nintendo eShop.

All 3DS games are compatible with the 3DS XL.

Batteries are included.

It's good value so you get heat from me but if you're able to wait for the new model coming out in a few months I'd do that personally. ofc I'm aware a lot of people will be buying these as Christmas presents and waiting isn't an option!

So I wonder if anyone could answer this for me about this 3DS bundle.

I bought one a month ago (not from Tesco) and it didn't have a Club Nintendo card inside. Registering and linking my Club Nintendo account didn't link ti either. I emailed Nintendo UK and they said that this bundle predates the Club Nintendo service so isn't eligible for the offer of registering a 3DS and SSB to get a free game. They didn't particularly care I had a receipt, either.

So anyone been able to register this 3DS Mario bundle and SSB to get a free game?

Any way to register my clubcard to a new account when its been used on an old one?

EDIT - Rang customer services...they said take the invoice in store and they will apply them for me

I've been using club Nintendo for a good 10 years since the gamecube was out so that reply sounds like a load of mince to me. That said if you're missing stuff from the retail box that's something you should take up with the retailer, not Nintendo.
Unfortunately if asking them for a new code worked, everyone who's buying a 3ds game this Christmas would be trying to get a free 3ds code to get their free game.
