It's not a huge bonus, but if you are looking to buy something on Prime day anyway (I am if certain things hit the right price point) it's an extra bonus.

Seems to be a promo for their 'top-up' service i.e. store money with them to make future purchases.

Invitation only though - not available to everyone. The link should have a button on it you can click to see if you are eligible.

Now I'm jealous of you all :D\x0d\x0a\x0d\x0aWell, the things I'm looking at are over £100 anyway, and it's a max of £5, so I'll survive

Supermod

Nice to see a few others can get this. Got £70+ here. Thanks for sharing @fixx

I got £5 extra for £80.

£70+ here too. Thanks OP.

£5 back for £80 for me, but it just doesn't seem like a great deal

It's free money, better than nothing

Annoyingly not eligible, frustrating as I have lots of items on order that would benefit. Had the £5 for £100 late last year but would have thought I'd be eligible again by now, anyone else who had it before know how long until you are eligible again, if ever?

Tempted top go on to CS and complain, see if they can do it manually for me or something, doesn't seem fair that you have it once and never get it again, it's only like 5% anyway

£70 here too.

Free fiver on a 70, thanks bro, heated

Why do people vote this code...???

No idea - some people object to people getting free money?

Ok not everyone is eligible, but that is clearly stated, and is Amazon's decision. And it's not a huge bonus, but it's still something for nothing if you use Amazon anyway - not sure why people think that is a bad deal.

it might not have been voted cold the first 45,000 times it was posted on here

I have £70 or more

Cheers got a free fiver on £70

Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.

Cheers OP, agreed with others on not sure why voted cold, free fiver with 80 quid top up

Mine was £80.

I buy enough stuff on Amazon that I'm quite happy to have got a free fiver for nothing.

Many thanks, OP, and I really don't understand the cold votes.

I topped up but only after buying an Echo

Oh well, I'm sure I'll spend the £70 (£75) on something else.

likewise, thanks OP!

Not eligible. As usual with Amazon!

I didn't receive an invitation but it lets me register for it
It states I MUST have received an invitation, so will it work if I top up?

Thanks OP.

I didn't receive one but activated it through OP's link and it worked.

It just seems strange that it looks like I'm eligible but HAVEN'T received an invitation

My 'invitation' was a very small little banner ad on the front page earlier today - very easy to miss. Not sure if that's the same for other people... Unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot of that to show.

It means that refunds and returns will be credit instead of money.

Stores encourage gift cards instead of money for good reason, it's a trade-off for customers. If it weren't for a top-up bonus they don't benefit anybody except the retailer at all.

Cheers OP... Had to top up by £100 to get mine, but was able to instantly use the £105 to pay off part of an order that's waiting to dispatch. It was already a bargain (1080ti), but this just sweetens the deal

Mine was £80...glad I ignored the previous offer they kept trying to seduce me with (£100)....topped up £85 (yes I know more than I had to but would cover the order I was placing anyway) and instantly had the extra £5 added....then purchased the Amazon Echo and some very exciting non-slip icing bags that were an add on-item that I'd been holding off buying until there was something I really wanted to make the order up to £20 and now Amazon have paid for them for me with the £5 credit and also got the £2.99 delivery credit for the Amazon Pantry Box offer applied after purchase...so a win all round for me

Mine worked on £100.

This is awesome - just got my extra £5 - Thanks OP! Does anyone know if this stacks? I still have a banner ad saying i'm eligible to top up when i click "manage your balance".. if i follow it, it still says "you have successfully registered" .. & it still allows me to proceed to the top up page..

i don't hit the button and load up another £100 though if its not going to be of benefit, as i'll probably just spend it

Any thoughts?

Thanks OP. Mine was £70 but topped up £100 and was given 2x£5 rewards. Joy!

just be aware that availing of this could effect your eligibility for similar future offers when it's more than a fiver bonus.

Cheers op I was £70

Last night there was 9000 £5 back off £50 gift card managed to grab one but still have this offer as well.

I got the 5 for 50, but for some reason it never came through.
