You won't be disappointed, it's a cracking phone for this sort of money.
Had mine for about 7 months and it's been rock solid, great battery life for such a large phone as well.

Yep. Shall update

Bargain.. At this price this is surely the best phone you can get for this price range.. Terms of bang for buck..

Just an update on an issue I have found. Just for information. I use my phone to play music over Bluetooth while driving. But not on this phone I can't. Well at least not easily. So there seems to be a bug whereby the phone uses a slightly off standard acc version that not all Bluetooth devices can understand. So my car radio (Kenwood) can pair to the phone and make calls etc, and can even read what music should be playing and display that, with skip and pause working from the radio, but it is totally silent. The work around is to do the following.
1. Each time you start the car and the Bluetooth pairs you need to enable developer mode by continually tapping on the mi version number in settings.
2. Then go to the extra develops option that has now appeared in settings as if by magic.
3. Go into the Bluetooth settings and change from acc to a different setting that the radio can understand.

This isn't just a Kenwood issue as online many people have had it with various head unit manufacturers. Some have had success by updating firmware in the head unit which I did with a usb flash drive, but to no avail. Apparently some custom ROMs fix this. It's an odd one.
I ordered on Feb 16th @ 14:00. Paid with PayPal and also called up on the 16th as I had not received an email confirming dispatch.

Phone was delivered on Wed but picked up from my local office yesterday.

Oh and for anyone wondering, it's the 636 processor. I downloaded CPU Z to check.

How do you guys transfer apps? I have new phone but don't want to download new versions of some apps as new version is crapper than old version.

Is there any way to transfer apps from an old android 5.1 to a android 7 phone easily?

It's just scanning the app for security. I wouldn't worry about it.
Just received a reply and apparently PayPal have been holding it until yesterday. 10 days now.

It's annoying af though when you download a lot but then I guess it's a 1 time thing.

Anyone using the default OS and didn't immediately do the update? I think it was MIUI 9 before the update

Yep, you barely notice it at all once the phone is fully set up.

It gives me peace of mind as I sometimes sideload APK's that also get safety scanned.

It's a good thing 👌

The point is my previous Xiaomi has the scan enabled but doesn't show the completion popup

Yep, if there's no visible signs of damage then you certainly have a leg to stand on. Being full UK stock and all. Even more so if you paid on a credit card

Just say you haven't.

Say it happened one day out of the blue, they won't question it, or they shouldn't anyway.

If there's no visible damage then there's no way they could question it. Just take photos before sending it in. You'll be fine 👌
