I think the frozen sign is misleading
Great... Saves me buying any salt.
The burgers aren't bad.
If you don't like the average vegetarian sausage, try making corndogs; they do it justice
Thanks OP, my wife has been waiting for them to come back down to £1, so she can stock up again
I tried these for the first time last week they aren't too bad with some meaty gravy.

Really not much more salt than any pork sausage equivalent. It's not the sort of thing you'll be eating everyday anyway

Not really. You could say the same about bread, because of all the ingredients in fortified wheat flour, or crisps because of the ingredients in seasoning.

Seems to be basically - soy, water, oil, seasoning, wheat, salt. Not that scary.

Really...truck loads. Agree with the other comparisons as that’s fundamentally my point. Those food are also higher than they need to be. All contributes in a cumulative sense >6gm/day leading to potential health issues ie high blood pressure. Unfortunately a caveat of not eating fresh. Are these really healthy alternatives?

You could say the same about ANY processed food type.

Thank you. PROCESSED foods should come with health warnings and images like we see on cigarette packets.

True and hence why I avoid and eat fresh. Manufacturers appear to love stuffing processed foods with salt/sugar and cheap padding ingredients. We shouldn’t accept this as they have a duty of care towards the consumer and should be held to account.

That was my first thought until I realised vast swathes of rainforest are being wiped out and the associated wildlife to make way for our vast appetite for palm oil
