tbh its not the fact that they look like sausages that makes them tasty, its what inside that makes em scrumptious
though sausage shape does come in handy when you buy finger rolls

Yummy! These sausages are the greatest!

Love the tags on this! Heat for that alone!!

Eating pretend meat that looks like a sausage, whatever next. Just eat the real thing.

i am vegetarian and the last time i had these i had to spit them out, couldn't even swallow them, so gross tasting!!!

Still, there are people who like them, we all have our own tastes!

Good reduction on price!!

These aren't really targeted at vegetarians. They are aimed meat eaters who want to 'go veggie' occasionally.

Well, they're useful for those that like to eat ethically produced meat, which gets expensive. Anyway, how does a sausage look like an animal, so why should the sausage shape be the sole reserve of carnivores? Phallic symbol perhaps?

Why do stupid comments like these always get posted in meat free deals? Why not let people eat what they want? How in any way does this resemble a pig? Just because some people want to change their diet, lifestyle, or whatever, doesn't give you the right to intervine! And surely you should know that sausages arn't just meat? You can get tonnes of different fillings. Open your eyes a little before posting stupid comments.

The people who feel the need to post comments deriding Vegetrianism and Vegetarian products are the ones with insecurities about eating meat. Otherwise they just would not do it. It's so predicatble too.

When there is a deal for a meat based product we Veggies don't post " why would you eat that blah blah blah" do we?

Veggie deals always seem to attract trolls like flies round a dog's bum. I agree with you vambo. it's probably some deep set sense of insecurity.

I'm a meat eater but i would say that 60% of my meals are vegetarian because my daughter has recently become vegetarian and i find it easier to eat the same meal as she is having rather than cook 2 separate meals. I am really enjoying these meals, though I am not at this time, wanting to stop meat eating altogether (I was a veggie for thirteen years, but became carnivorous again a long time ago).

I did try to edit the tag but i don't have a high enough rep....i was just going to add ' no snips, no snails, no puppy dogs tails'.

Because at least you know what goes into a vegetarian sausage!

Rather than repeat myself I will answer this perennial question by … Rather than repeat myself I will answer this perennial question by pasting a previous reply, from a previous quorn deal.cheapo: This argument that 'I don't understand why they make vegetarian food look like meals that have meat in' is so f'ing stupid.Ok, when was the last time you saw a pig made up of cylindrical sausages? How about a cow comprised of pasties? Ooh mummy, look at that chicken, its like a nugget with wings! There is no monopoly on certain shapes of foodstuff having to have dead animal in them. Did I miss an 11th commandment?Sausages, pies, pasties, rolls, are all man made constructs to hold food. It doesn't have to be meat. They are mere vessels to present food in a convenient manner. Just because a vegetarian decides not to eat meat does not mean they have to throw out every other convention including shape and portion size. We do not do it because we are secretly salivating over meat. We do it out of convenience. Now you have the exception. There are cuts of meat that vegetarians try and replicate, like bacon for instance. So the argument would have more weight there. But, even bacon is a modification of the meat as it fits on the pig. The rashers do not peel off individually, they have to be cut and shaped in a way that is convenient and pleasing to the eater. What is wrong with making the shape of food palatable? My next book will be 'Beef crisps: why do they try and make them taste like beef when they have no meat in them?' What shape and taste would you like my food to be until you shut up, and go back to ploughing your way through thousands of slaughtered sentient beings (you know them things that have babies in fields, and live like families until you decide that you want a lamb kebab), even though most on here would not dream of actually killing the things themselves.Since when do chicken pieces look like chickens? They don't, they look like small portions palatable for human being. Do you rebel against cheese & onion pasties in the same way because the ones you like have beef in?When people stop making that facile argument 'why do they do it, if they don't want to eat meat', then I will stop pasting my previous reply.Boring!

HOT, great price and very nice too. Can always be used on here as bait to catch meat bitter eaters :whistling:

To the people who left negative feedback (and there were a few), way to go debating me.

Idiots.
