Not seen these before, will keep a look out
Yet more veggie abuse of the English language: scampi is fish, by definition.

Scampi is traditionally a crustacean, not a fish.

If you think through your comment, you'll find it doesn't make sense ethically.
Fish less Scampi... it’s the future!
There's something fishy going on here or is there
My friend said his missus had Vege fish n chips at a restaurant...

Turns out it's a slab of halloumi battered n deep fried

What is this one made of?

You rely on other people to mistreat animals and then kill them in a cruel way. Why don't you do it yourself?
A quick label change and you can go from Vegetarian scampi to Vegetarian chicken nuggets or Vegetarian meatballs, linda McCartneys dream product!!

I decided to give up Meat last year and I'm amazed with the fascination of other people about it and the constant questioning about it.
They dismiss it and question my choice as if I'm wrong to give up meat? Like they are going to be disadvantaged in some way.

I find it really odd. I'm just choosing to give it up, not trying to change anyones views.. lol

I was thinking the same thing.

i need a lot of explanation why you'd want to eat something that tastes like an animal being a vegetarian or vegan. Is it that you enjoy the taste of dead animals but don't want to see them dead? I just can't grasp the idiocy of naming favoured soya beef, duck, chicken or scampi if the philosophy behind vegetarianism is opposed to the eating of animals. If I were vegetarian or vegan, I'd go all the way and deny my cravings for the taste of dead flesh.

I honestly don't get how you'd want the flavour of death, but be opposed to it at the same time. Its as crazy as wanting a lamb chop to taste like soya beans.

There is no death involved.

Most people disguise the flavour of lamb with a sauce made from fruit or vegetables before consuming it.

Rubbish. No one disguises the flavour of lamb. The sauces are used to compliment the meat. I realise that some foodstuff needs disguising, soya for instance.

What's wacky on here is that people want to eat vegetarian meals that taste like scampi, duck, chicken and beef, and don't seem to understand how weird it sounds. Maybe soya isn't that good in maintaining mental balance.
Thanks for for the encouragement by the way

well soya needs disgising doesn't it? Is that the whole point of the stuff? Sounds and tastes are not really the forte of Vegetarians it seems.

I like your dip into reverse psychology though!

Might take a punt. Can always feed it to the ducks if it tastes like carboard, which it probably does...

Kindest regards
