I got some the other day when they were £5 , same best before date and they were fine. They tend to disappear rather quickly in my house anyway 😄

I agree. I just had a look at the site and did not find anything additional that I could add to the basket to bring it up to a minimum spend.

Yes, Approved Food specialises in food that is past best before dates. It's still perfectly edible and saves on waste. They were featured in a few programmes about their positive effect on food waste.

I've had a fair few boxes from them in the past, including their £1 lucky boxes and they've usually been great.

I’m the opposite, I have no trouble with filling my basket with all the hotel chocolate, Ferrero and Lindor deals but I have to be careful how much I spend otherwise I’d get a few boxes.

I usually restrict it to when the lucky boxes appear as they e been great for £1. There’s always a few items I won’t eat from those but we’ve had far more an £1 worth from each box that we eat. Last week I got a while big jar of cherry sweets, some liqueur chocolates and loose Lindor, among other things.
