LINK STILL WORKING! strato-hosts.com Free Boxed Adobe PhotoShop, GoLive

Full Version Adobe GoLive CS2
Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0
Steganos Internet Security Software (Special Edition)
Domain Name
12 months Web Hosting
(Costs £1.17 + £3.95 postage)

This is a great offer, it was supposed to run out yesterday, but I checked the site today and they have not taken it down yet.

I signed up in May and got boxed applications within a few days. Especially good for webmasters as I cannot find a host providing this level of QoS at this price.

12 months of web hosting for £1.17. The hosting can be cancelled at any time, so in effect you get all the software for a fiver.

Just checked again today, this offer is still available at strato-hosts.com
Registered another account last night for the extra domain names, they are all ready to use today.

It sounds too good to be true. What's the catch, seriously?

Something in the terms and conditions to make it their worthwhile I guess, if not I stand corrected!

sorry, I placed the image link in the wrong box. now updated.

Welcome to HotUKDeals and Thanks for this

The link should be working fine now.

Have seen this on several forums, seems a legit offer from what I have gathered, obviously they are hoping you will stay beyond the 12 months so maybe that's what's in it for them.

Too this up a month or so back. Totally legit offer.

Only thing required is to remember and cancel the subscription before the year is up (well, 11 months, providing a months notice) or they will take the next 12 months subscription in advance.

I tried the sign up process and I was still offered the package for only £1.
I think they have forgotten to take the offer down.

I took out the offer and received the software quickly but it’s certainly not boxed applications. The Adobe applications came as individual discs in sealed paper sleeves with a serial number on the back. The discs have the Strato name printed on them also, so I figure they have an OEM deal with Adobe.

Anyone tried the Enterprise package ?

despite the title, this is NOT Free Boxed Adobe Photoshop, it's Photshop Elements, an entirely different product

dudedude is correct. I signed up last time I saw this offer and it all seems above board. The one concern I have since found out that continues to play on my mind is that German law does not appear to require the protection of data. If you do a whois on your domain, you get to see the full name and address of the bill payer. I personally find this too intrusive for my liking and will probably close the account early if I can.

thats nothing to do with German Law, thats a change in the whois rules.

You can opt out if you wish, personally all my domains are done through domainsbyproxy

Well I went for it, and got the domain set up very quickly. Just waiting for the discs

Legit copy of elements is well worth the £5!

which options are you guys picking? Or has this now expired?

Thanks for that speedski. Would love to know how you opt out or turn it off?

BA

got my discs today!

One question - the golive has a picture of photoshop elements on the disc - is that also included? I don't want to open it as may sell it to a m8

Was also sent a separate elements disc

Looks like it's been updated to the end of July:
