Hmmm - been thinking about getting this for a while. Don't forget Quidco @ HMV too!

Is this any good?

Its OK, but its a very short game, and the zapper calibration doesn't feel quite right in it - other gun games, like Ghost Squad do a better job. Definately worth a pop though, for £18.

I'm a big fan of Crossbow Training, but then I like doing relatively easy levels over and over again until I'm perfect at them.

With Quidco this is worth getting, if not an absolute bargain.

Very good deal - just ordered one - voted HOT!

Not really, no

I ordered this from HMV a while back... then they cancelled it as they had no stock (even though the web site stated they did).
In fact I have never had an order delivered from HMV as they always cancel them due to items being out of stock.
Good luck if you have ordered this as it's not a bad price.

Great game, but definately short and easy, but for this price, you can't … Great game, but definately short and easy, but for this price, you can't go wrong! If anyone needs more than one, then dvd.co.uk has this in their '2 for £30' deal

Thanks for this, should get 4% quidco as well, £14.40 each

This was £17.99 when it came out before Christmas. At least it was at Zavvi, not sure about elsewhere. So not really a hot price after 6 months, but definitely a hot deal merely for the stock notification as I've been trying to get one that isn't £30 on eBay for ages, so thanks :-)

Edit - There don't seem to be any in stock at DVD.co.uk

Just ordered - Thank you.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but are there other games that you can use the zapper with?

Ghost squad seems the best for this gun..........

You can use it ( awkwardly ) with Red Steel

Also on some of the games on Wii Play

I believe you can also use it with Resident Evil

Ghost Squad, House of the Dead 2 + 3 Return, Resident Evil : Umbrella Chronicles, Medal of Honor : Heroes 2

Lightgun style games really. Also look for the Wii Zapper logo on selected games.

Zapper use is also being worked into Call of Duty 5 for Wii:

Treyarch explains:

“…We’re going to be supporting the Zapper and, I don’t know how familiar you are with the Zapper personally, but you lose about five or six buttons on that controller, so it’s very challenging to make a Call of Duty game that functions well. We’ll be doing some unique stuff with co-op gameplay, too, but we’re not ready to talk on that yet. I honestly think you’ll see what we’re taking the Wii very seriously.”

Just edited my original posting. Tesco have it in stock (see link in original posting above).

i ordered one of these when it was posted at WH Smiths last year, eventually said they couldnt get it anymore.... (over a period of about 5 months) ordered on amazon in march and i finally recieved it last week.

The annoying thing is that i keep seeing them in shops now... tesco, toys r us, gamestation. (all s****horpe)

It's a pretty good game and the gun is well made. get them quick before they disappear for another 9 months!

Well worth buying; just mini games but good shooting practice all the same

I got mine from Asda for £17.00 yonks ago.

It came with the cross bow training game but have not played it yet. I tried it with COD3 and it was terrible.
