Thanks Frank
It's brilliant once you put dd-wrt or openwrt on it. Bargain for under £100 and as it's dual partition it's pretty much impossible to brick it.

Ever come across internet speed decreasing with custom ROM? I put dd-wrt on a partition and internet is about 30% of what the stock ROM can produce. I'm with Talktalk and get up to 80Mbps with stock ROM and about 25Mbps with dd-wrt
What are Ebuyer like when you have to do a return?

Was going to order this earlier and checked trust pilot and there seemed to be a lot of recent negativity?

Its on amazon for 105 and I might pay the extra for their returns policy.

Great deal OP . Tempted!

With dd-wrt I did notice slower speeds so I moved to a build of openwrt found here dc502wrt.org/ very well supported and speeds are actually better than stock though WiFi.

I flashed the wrong firmware out of stupidity on mine. It wouldn't boot either partition. I had to recover it via serial. It's fine now

I just use the official release. This build comes with a ton of things I don't use. I didn't notice a difference in speed between them.
Is this worth an upgrade from my R7000?
