Refurbished - if that means a main board has been repaired then nah not a good idea.

When one component goes its surefire sign that possibly another will go or a nearby cap or mosfet on that same board and with the standard of electronics repair guys these days its not a good idea unless your repair guy is Bigclive or John Ward !!!!

Quite apart from the fact it was recently on sale for £231 so would you buy a refurb to save £8?

Nothing personal mate... it's a bit like all the dyson refurb stuff... usually means junk new... have a 55" linsar by the way... touching cloth... rather than wood

To be fair refurbished doesn't always mean bad........I bought a refurb Dell lappy from a thread here a year ago and apart from some teething problems that the company fixed immediately it has been a great buy and saved me £400 from new. Just a little research on the refurb company can allay fears.......don't miss a bargain through fear......I have had plenty of new stuff that has been a nightmare from statrt to finish when the company don't give a monkeys about customer service.

Just the fact you have to pay for returning it for any repair after 60 days is enough to put me off. It will cost £100+ to return it.
I wouldn’t deal with linsar, I had a 65” 4K HDR TV that wouldn’t display 4K or HDR content and linsar came back saying not fault found’ after 2 weeks of having the TV

Lucky I bought with my credit card provider and managed to get my money back, horrible company to deal with
