Get a big TV with a Roku streaming stick for smart TV, for less, with the Linsar 65UHD520.

Enjoy more detail, with 4K UHD
With four times the resolution of Full 1080p HD, 4K (UHD) TV offers stunning detail and resolution for totally life-like realism. You can now get a huge range of content in UHD 4K, including UHD Blu-ray and gaming, TV and streaming services such as Netflix 4K. Another advantage with this higher resolution TV is that, because the pixels are smaller than FHD TVs, you can sit closer to the TV before you lose definition – making a larger screen possible in a smaller room.

Bigger screen value
Priced closer to 50 – 55 inch TVs, this 65 inch Linsar TV is a mega-screen bargain. A bigger screen helps draw you into the action, making it ideal for action movies and big sports events alike.

Make it smart with Roku
Supplied with a Roku streaming stick, this big-value TV becomes smart. The Roku stick plugs into one of the TV’s HDMI sockets and, with its supplied remote control, gives you access to a wide range of smart TV content, including streaming TV services.

Catch up TV and the best streaming services
The Roku features a wide range of TV catch-up services. These include the BBC iPlayer, ALL 4, ITV Hub and Demand 5. A range of premium video streaming services are also available, including Netflix, NOW TV and Amazon Video.

Powerful wi-fi
With wi-fi built-in, the Roku streaming stick wirelessly connects to your wi-fi router. Thanks to its 4x boost in range, it easily picks up wi-fi signals where others may fail.

Control via your smartphone or tablet
For even smarter control, download the free Roku app to your smartphone or tablet. As well as controlling the player, you get extra features including private listening and cast to TV. Connect headphones to your smartphone or tablet and you can listen in private. See photos, video and music stored on your device on the big screen by casting to the TV.

Fully connected for sources, old and new
Featuring three HDMI sockets, you’ll still have two spare once the Roku is connected. These are perfect for a set-top box and Blu-ray player or games console. Twin USBs sockets are provided for media devices. You’ll also find a SCART socket, which is perfect for connecting older devices and much harder to find on many current TVs.

PVR USB
One of the USB sockets lets you connect a USB memory stick to use as a PVR. PVR stands for Personal Video Recorder and lets you record TV programmes via the set's Electronic Programme Guide. It can also pause live TV - just like a subscription based set-top box.

Supersize your viewing pleasure, with the Linsar 65UHD520.

Don't bother , the 1st one had no picture and the second one I got blinked more than me !!
65 inches 4K TV with HDR under 400 + Richer Sounds 6 yr warranty = Insane. If you are in market to buy a 65 inch non OLED tv, not much can go wrong here

I bought one last week at £439. Price was £449 but had a VIP voucher I only use it for sky TV and with a fire stick. Having issues programming other remotes at the moment but apart from that it's OK. Great size, OK quality. Plus RS refunded me the £40 difference in price. Great customer service.
how does it compare to the Hisense £500 from a while back? Is Hisense so much better than this in comparison. Or just a bit.

Quality as in picture quality or build / experience? It comes with a Roku I'm thinking it's a great deal for a UK designed TV.
this is ot a joke, it s a LINSAR

Picture quality just doesn't seem that sharp but I'll try the suggested picture settings. If anyone knows the sky remote codes let me know please.
i'm tempted to buy but the reviews seem to indicate it's not worth it, even £399

Here's my short review of the 55" version. Might help someone looking to get remotes to work with this set.

No you don't. I have it and it is going back to John Lewis when I have time to sort it out.

I purchased it on a price match for £399 in June and it truly shocking.

Settings on this TV are a real pain as they vary so much depending on if you watch sd or HD.

Are your settings fro HD mate, as I have used them and you are right you have found a good balance.

Yeah, I think we use these settings for the Roku stick, so it's for HD. Haven't tried SD since our TV aerial is out of alignment so I can't get live TV right now anyway.

Have you managed to get the volume to work on the roku remote with this TV?

Hmm, I don't think so but I don't think I've tried to be honest. I'm not at home until Friday so I can't have a go at it right now.

Sounds like a great deal

Let us know how you get on returning it, I tried before 30 days old and got messed around with support, I might try again tommorow - it truly is shocking - every program has me altering the picture settings
Got the 65" when last on hotukdeals from RS with the 6yr warranty. Been on the wall now since then and works fine fer me. Totally understand it ain't the latest in hi tec but for the price does a better job than my retired 42" Samsung circa 2013. My 15yr old plugged in his PS4 pro and proclaimed it to be 'not bad dad - minimal lag and sharp image, can I have one?". Got him the 55" to game on, very happy he is. He normally games on a 32" 4k monitor for the PS4 pro and x3 off 28" 4k gaming monitors for the pc rig. Just read this back, think he needs a reality check... "we had frost on the inside of the windows, 3 tv channels, presents for xmas and b'days only, youth club and a beating was our social media" .... God I'm old... whine, whinge, never had it so good.
Sorry got off track a little. Sound is not fab but like most I out the audio. I out to a small Denon receiver with a couple of 15yr old Altec Lansing pc speakers with a sub and it's bloody good, better than a Samsung sound bar by far. Came with a Roku stick that personally I find better than the v2 Firestick so that's the 'smart' part sorted, more responsive than an LG smart unit we had. Viewing is best head on with beyond bout 30 degrees gets a little washed out. Picture takes some setting up but ok once done. For some reason Eastenders (wife watches, not me I'm a Corry kinda guy) comes out dark and moody with a strong red tint on faces. Got headphone and optical out ports. Reasonably thin bezel. Remote is kinda quick with none of the delay we got on our other tv's that seem to have to have to go through a decision tree before reacting. Oh yes 6yr warranty from RS so I'm happy.
Seems a fantastic deal, for 65 inches, sorely tempted. Heat added
What’s this like for watching HD films. I have a receiver and I use Xbox for smart apps. So I’m only interested in the picture. Not smart or sound. Can’t decide between this and hisense at £500 Thanks
Was Tempted until I read the Trust Pilot Reviews on Linsar TV's!! 4-5 reviews of people having issues multiple times with these TV's, although they do praise the retailer(s) for quickly dealing with the problem if issues occur within 6 months. I would definitely ensure you have Linsar's Repair Number to hand (01202 723330) if even contemplating purchasing one of these TV's.
Oh well, you only live once I've gone ahead and purchased one anyway! (I Feel I may regret it though). Are Linsar still actually trading?? Went to their Facebook Page, they've posted nothing for over 3 years, went to their main page (www.linsar.com) and they don't even list manufacturing ANY TV above 50" LOL. I've heard that they've subcontracted After Sales Service to People in France, who literally have no idea of Customer Service. I'm now literally dreading purchasing this Mistake already 6 Years of going around in circles using French Translation Services to end up getting no where, is how I envisage the future

Does it really matter with resolution, pixels etc? Don't think it improves the viewing/gaming experience tbh
