Not overly familiar with this brand myself but a few places stock them and they look good on the budget end of the spectrum. Could be good as a bedroom TV, works out about £10 more than another 55" Full HD model that was posted, so I thought this might be worth a shout for anyone after a higher res model.

Begging your pardon me lordship.
Not sure in which country manor you dwell me Lord but I suspect us mere working class peasants may not be able to fit a 55" TV in to the bedrooms of our hovels.

TV is priority, ditch the bed and wardrobes
And the wife
John Lewis used to sell Linsar, still using a 22" I had from them several years ago

Bauhn...from Aldi fame??
Vestel, so cheap crap parts. But for the size it is a good price. Probably poor for games due to input lag, but probably half decent for films and tv shows.
Oh it’s a vested dam shame looked good
the name is actually an amalgamation of Lynne and Sarah, the wives of the two owners.

Whilst Linsar is a UK company, the TVs aren't actually made here and instead, like many other brands, they are assembled at Vestel's gigantic factory in Turkey. However, it is Linsar that choose the various designs and components, fashioning a TV that they feel caters to the specific needs of the UK market. The concept is to make the company efficient and nimble, thus keeping overheads low and allowing them to react quickly to changes in the marketplace. Linsar's ultimate goal is to produce a wide range of good entry priced products that provide un-compromised value in today's difficult economic environment.
hope this is uesful

So to be clear, is this room 3 metres by 3 metres, or 1 metre by 3 metres, or something else?

Wouldn't be a box room if it was 3m x 3m - that's too big for box room. 3m x 3m would be 9 metres squared anyway.

Most box rooms are approx 1.9m x 2.2m or thereabouts (circa 4m2 floor space), so his must be a tiny box room with a big tv - possibly 1.5m x 2m, just long enough for a single bed with a 2'3" door and access down the bedside.
