I know low specs but £129 has been the lowest price for this tablet when purchased new.

I've got a linx 10, almost identical, they're not bad if you want/need Windows, but with the way W10 updates everything whether you want to or not really bogs it down.
If it's updating you struggle to do much else, even browse.
I only paid £100 about 2 year ago, this should be less now really, I wouldn't buy it again, I'd go for a£100 android tablet, much faster for simple stuff.

I had one of these for about 12 hours (until the returns desk at Argos opened), annoyingly slow at doing almost anything.

I'm keeping mine simply because it will run full Office etc to take away with me, and the Chrome/Firefox browsers have all the extras working the same as the desktop PC.

This has the better Atom processor in so its not as slow as the previous versions, bargain hot.

Says code is invalid

Showing as £199.99 on the website.

Have you used Very before - is the code for new customers only?

Nope, there is very little difference between the processors... certainly not enough to notice...

Well the older one has a passmark of 900 and new one 1200 so you might notice when they are that low. I reinstalled windows on a single core 600 passmark machine (desktop too!) and on a 800 passmark dual core (about 400 per core) machine, you could notice a difference on the dual core. They did both have mechanical drives though so maybe with NAND(?) storage it would be less noticable but the 1200 should be better for youtube and general things.

a single word review will cover this item

SLOW

and ok actually two words are needed

very SLOW

You pick one benchmark where there's a passable difference, the rest are almost identical, some the older version actually wins.
The older version has a better GPU, so real world we're still talking minimal difference.
