Because you've never heard of it? Why not look on Amazon before putting people off. They've been doing 8" and 10" tablets for a few years, my son has the 8" one and my wife an older 10". Just bought one for myself.

where you been hiding? As for add it states 8gb is that right as it's normally 2gb.

meant ad not add before someone corrects me. predictive text...tut.

Ridiculous comment. Had the 7" for a year, perfect and reliable.

It is 2GB. Not sure whether the 8GB is a typo or what it means.

Might phone my local sainsburys, anyone else managed to get one?

I had one of these and it was excellent. The screen isn't high-res but it's good quality, excellent battery life and connectivity and the keyboard dock is great too.

Its Linx not Lynx that's where the confusion lies as in this one from Amazon amazon.co.uk/Lin…ets

Did this include the keyboard?

Just corrected the typo in the title and description. Very surprised this is such a low temperature. I thought this was a very good deal, but clearly it can be got cheaper elsewhere, or people are voting cold for some other reason.

Was this just store specific?

You'd probably be better off with an Onkyo or Denon.....

I've got one of these (not leather effect though) like many people I recognise it as a excellent value tablet/laptop replacement. You can get a keyboard attachment which makes this function like a low powered laptop. It's not going to blow you away with power, but it functions perfectly for office use and plays some low powered games. I've been playing stuff like Diablo 2, StarCraft. even hearthstone on it. Battery life is pretty good.

You've never heard of one of the most prominent Windows tablet brands... Deals frequently on HUKD... Ok... Care to offer an explanation?

It's been sold for £159 in Sainsburys Swansea

The 1010 has the full size usb ports doesn't it?

BigBuds

Did this include the keyboard?

No. It definitely doesn't. My son wanted one for his school work, which is a 1010B, the Sainsbury's model is a 1010LTR(LTR for leather I presume).

The op called it Lynx that's why people was saying they had never heard of it. I suspect this would have got hotter if the op had listed it without the typo.

Nope I think you are wrong, sorry, and it wasn't "people" as you put it, if you read back you will see it was one person in fact, the very person I quoted in my reply. Thanks though.

They usually sell the 810 Leather for that price. Must pop round to my local store - don't need one, but can I resist the bargain?

POSTSCRIPT: Sainsbury's Prestwick has the 810L reduced from 99.99 to 79.99. They have a 1010L on display, but no label, which usually indicates no stock.

PPS: I was looking for that deodorant they call Linx, but could only find one called Lynx. Anyone ever heard of it?

I had a Denon car stereo in the 90s, finally had to ask for my money back after having it repaired twice.
Opinions vary, but my experience put me off from ever buying Denon again.

Are you from Loughborough by any chance

Thanks OP. I've owned 7" ver for somewhile. IMO really good Windows tablets. Been waiting for good offer on 10" & for me here it is @ £79.50 brand new for "leather" backed version. Picked up last one at Chafford Hundred (Thurrock?) first thing this morning. First time I've been successful on one of these device chases :-) Keyboard not included (I have one). Confirm it is 2GB RAM with 32GB storage Internal & one year office 365. BTW x3 7" also available at reduced £79.00

Excellent!, I got a previous Linx 10 with 2GB and 16GB internal, and luvvvvvvvvv'ed it! (still in active use today!).

The Linx 8 with 1GB and 32GB internal packed up on me mind ..... :-(

But would luvvvvvvvvvvv 1 of these Linx 10, 2GB with 32GB internal too mind? (they're mad decent!). :-)

And good Deals on any decent Branded Android Tablet's out there please? (7", 8", and/or 10", any is fine, as the Tablet size matter's to me none?, lol). :-)

I paid the same price for the non-leather backed Linx 8" some 6+ months back or so?, hehehe.

But these leather backed 8" Linx Tablet's are a newer animal to that what I personally bought at the time, etc?, so yeh!, lol. :-)

Can't say for sure? (never had one?), BUT saying that though?, I know the 1010B HAS FULL USB Socket mind? (2 FULL USB Sockets, be be exact?!), so ..... (I'm having the 1010B by the way?, so, however, I do know that answer for sure though ..... ) :-)

I was thinking the 1010B variant instead, lol.
