The lInx tablet become popular just recently ....I wonder if someone have ever bought a Linx Tablet more than a year ago ?? Also one year old tablet is still considered good, not many will trade it in .

So this cash back offer is meaningless.

Are these any good ? Have a kindle fire which no one uses so could trade that in if these are recommended?

Its a shame its not a Linx 8

yep... even for 20£ they won't sell on Ebay

Got the Linx 8 for £69 from Very and loving it. The form factor suits me perfectly and it's great to have a true version of Excel instead of the lash-up I've had on my 3 Android phones.

Cheaper on eBay
With office 365

It's 59.99 on eBay with office 365

It has Office 365 wherever you buy from. The good thing about this deal is the option to trade in for £30 rebate - you can't do that with the ebay sale.

Got one at the £59.99 ebay deal the other week. Impressed so far and XBMC works perfect on it. Media wise it has played everything so far I've thrown at it. This is the cheapest I've seen it that allows the tradeup deal.

Waiting for the Linx 8 to come down. Looks great. It'll fit in well with all the Windows machines you have. Technology eh?

Hi,

How did the office 365 subscription work? Was it already activated? I already have a full version of office and was thinking if i could sell the subscription that comes with this tablet for say £30 or something.

How exactly does the trade in work? do you have to handover an old tablet in store at the time of purchase?

I'm afraid it came pre-activated. Have not got round to checking if it can be transferred to another device or not if you have used the same windows live account as say you have on your own desktop. So I'm afraid selling it is out of the question (had thought that as a bonus myself!)

What??

You don't have to trade in a Linx tablet, it is any 7", working, no damage to screen tablet.

Got the 10" version with the keyboard and sent in a Advent Vega on Monday.

It shouldn't come pre-activated. If you sign in at the start with your MS Live account when initially setting up the tablet then that will activate it automatically. Otherwise just don't sign into any MS Live account and simply start the Office program where it will lead you to a browser to login with to activate it and the URL address of that page contains the serial key.

Thank you, had another tablet and tried that "trick" and works perfect. Though then I signed in at the office page with my desktops logon, took me to the office account page prompting for me to press install. Jumped onto PC went to my account page on MS and clicked install. Office license taken from tab for me desktop
Then stupidly notice that the license is for 1 PC/Mac and 1 Tablet anyhow!
Thanks once gain.

Is it upto £50 for any tablet? The website doesn't state which tablets get how much which is a shame.. If they gave me 50 quid for my blackberry playbook then boom I'm ready lol

SO,just in case you haven't found this out already...Go for the 7" Linx, and you would get a £30 trade in,if you give them any working Min 7" tablet, and the same if you go for the 8" .BUT if you want to buy a 10" Linx, you can still hand over any old working Minimum 7" tablet, but get £50 trade-in value.

All is fully explained at tablettradeup.com such as the condition you replacement would need to be in,and the value of it against whatever size yer gonna buy,and WHERE you would need to buy a tablet from (Amazon,Argos Staples to name but a few) and details of how you would need to return the old tablet,FREE OF CHARGE in order to receive you credit into your bank account. My claim is in progress,SIMPLES
