This will go cold because people will still be thinking of the Staples deals last week. Yes the one you can't get anymore but that doesn't matter, such is the mentality of the average HotUKDeal downvoter.

They're giving these out for free with xbox one's now, not heard great things about them either.

No. It's the 8" and it's eligible for £30 cashback.

Thank you for skipping past my comment after that one

No problem. This one is a better tablet and it's eligible for cashback.

This went hot at this price on Black Friday in Amazon's Lightning Deals. So we've had the Staples deal since then but it is over.

This seems to be the best price for now.

not heard great things about them either

But you don't have one? Mine seems fine for the price (£80 in the earlier Amazon deal) to get mobile Windows

The query I have, is the 1GB enough to run e.g. access database software? Otherwise may as well put the funds towards an i-core based windows tablet.

these tablet will be on offer on an every weekly basic. so buy it if you REALLY needed. buy only if they are below £79.99

Was hoping for £70...

It's been £69 from Very for ages now. Possible cash back via Quidco and it supports the £30 trade in.

Fair enough - that one has slipped from people's memories so repeated here:

hotukdeals.com/dea…910

Not sure I would want to create a credit account with them though - don't need it.

I doubt it - from Office 365 web page [http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/office365home/]:

Access is available for PC only.

So although you get Office 365 with these tablets, doesn't look like Access is available to run on the tablet - not tried Office 365 yet so can't confirm. Although wasn't Access always a memory hog - probably wouldn't het out of bed for 1Gb (_;)

Does anyone know whether it will support itunes and whether I can use my ipod with it? Also is 1GB enough or am I better off with the 2GB 10.1 version. I'm awaiting a reply from Amazon about the cashback for the larger tablet as Amazon says £30 for all three versions whereas the cashback site states £50 for the 10.1.

Voted hot as the Staples deal is no longer available and it's now £99 on Very.

Read this: hotukdeals.com/dea…910

It's £69 if you create a credit account and use the voucher code.

whereas the cashback site states £50 for the 10.

You deal with the cashback site for the cashback - shouldn't matter what Amazon says!
