I have one of these. Fantastic tablet for the money.

been posted before, you must trade in an old tablet to get cash back. Title should be adjusted as misleading.

Where does it mention cashback plz.

Surely there can't be many tablets in circulation that are worth less than £30?

It is a promotion Linx are doing. Selected retailers only and Amazon are one of them. You have to trade in a working 7"+ tablet to get the refund.

I got the 10" version with keyboard and cover from Insight Uk for £174 delivered. The trade in site are sending a box for my old Advent Vega tablet and refunding £50, so £124 for a quad core, 2gb, 32gb, HDMI out (full HD output), twin camera Win 8 tablet.

Thinking about getting one of these by trading in my rubbish prestigio tablet. Looks pretty good and gets good reviews. Like the idea of a windows tablet.

Though, I might go for a hudl 2 using the clubcard boost.... better hardware but not windows...

I've got an old Hannspad Hannspree that I'm trading in for £50 off the 10" version.
I rang the helpline first to make sure it was an "acceptable" tablet, and they said it was.

Now down to £79 with the cashback offer so that could be £49 if you've got a tab you'd lose for £30.

Since they don't seem to take any old tablet I'm not sure anything decent would be worth handing back for £30.

100% claimed as I typed.

Still no deals on the 10 :-(

Isn't that price for the 7" version though.

I just had it showing as £79 for the 8", though just refreshed and it's now at £96 and not from Amazon directly.

No 8" deal gone though

Note:
1. The current deal is same price for 32gb version while stocks last - Linx says will revert to 16gb after.
2. I have just got the 8" 32gb model. No it's not a powerhouse and I've not done the £30 trade in yet, and the app store is a bit thin...
3. But with office (full free 1yr licence) and several other routine programs it has very little lag and is entirely usable

My partner is an Apple fan and I see why. I think Android is brilliant on my phone and tablet.
... But i had to help a friend get and setup another model of 8" win8.1 tab - after 2h was ready to throw out of the window but had to continue as helping him out. After further 2h suddenly got it and began to find the tips and tricks for w8.1 on touch screen.

And i am stunned how effective it is. Even tho...
Screen has no anti fingerprint coating. Battery life certainly no better than 5-6h and charging slow (4h?). No sign of GPS. No ambient light sensor / auto-brightness.

Will we scrap the 5 apple/android devices? No.
Will we benefit from this compact effective portable FULL WINDOWS computer? Yes yes yes!

The cashback part is a bit misleading.
