Sure as hell ain't worth £229, but this isn't a bad price assuming it arrives in as new condition.
I've got one of these, fine if you want to do some basic word processing and the like. Just don't expect i7 performance.

Any idea how this compares to the Linx 1010...that was 2gb 32gb and Atom Z3735 but was very neat and the keyboard relaly locked in - got one for my inlaws and was well inpressed.

The photo above looks a bit chunky and cant tell if the keybard is sturdy clip on or just lose separate - I am interested if it is sturdy and I can use on my lap.

Looks like CPU is a far bit better

The keyboard is like the surface, a loose cover. Not bad if you work on a desk or a table. But awful for resting on your lap. No idea how the performance compares but more ram and a better processor should show an improvement.
X5 atoms are a lot better than previous atom processors and will have good battery life on them. Decent amound of storage for this type of device and enough RAM to run windows smoothly. Good deal heat added. Not a bad machine to put some emulators on for a bit of gaming when out and about either :-)

£132 for a Windows tablet with 4/64gig is hot. Ideal for surfing the net, word processing and stuff. Good If you're into the windows ecosystem and with 12 month warranty.
4GB of ram makes this a cut above most of the entry level windows netbooks & tablets that seem to be stuck in parallel universe where 2GB (or less) is acceptable.

Still wouldn't buy one though.
Looks like there are all sorts of build quality issues / reliability problems / usability issues with these:

Probably why Argos have so many of refurbed returns of these.

Not for me.

We have a Linx 1020 and one of these. Really pleased with them.
That is a nice upgrade on the earlier Linx. With 4GB of RAM you can run quite a range of software, as long as it is not CPU heavy.

However, my experience with the Linx keyboard is a bit mixed, and this one looks every bit as flimsy as the previous version. And look how fat and heavy it is - it is not going to be much fun as a tablet, so the detachable keyboard is a bit pointless.
Looks very chunky
Any one know how this would fair playing movies, just with VLC really. Thinking about getting something like this for the kids on the longer journeys.
I'm looking for something to run affinity photo, and a browser, that's it! would this be powerful enough for affinity?
Why is this hot? So what if keyboard is thrown in, rubbish resolution refurb. At this price you can get 1920 resolution new.

Do you need to use this for work, otherwise an android tablet would be a better choice, longer battery life and with louder speakers. I posted a Acer 10" tablet deal with 32gb storage earlier Acer Iconia 32Gb or this Lenovo tab 4

I find the linx machines really good for simple tasks and emulation for gaming. I even got a mass effect and Borderlands running in mine, which is the linx vision 8, only 2gb ram.
I like the 12v64 with keyboard but not this one
Now why is it they can make this spec with windows for under 150 but there's nothin with android anywhere near this price?

Great price but its screen size is not suitable for me. 4GB RAM made it better choice but 10"....
Nice

I'd go windows for a media viewer. Much easier to get and download the content you want to watch in my opinion.
I'm selling my Lenovo miix3 1080p for far less than this (£99), and thoroughly impressed for a tablet pc, this one having more ram would be better, as above great for browsing, basic games and word processing all for less than £140!!
