Bought one of these as I loved the thought of playing fifa in bed, gave up after no more than 30 mins play time as the unit itself is bulky and awkward. Not as nifty as it looks. Returned it for a full refund. Not voted
Good price, these used to be over £100. But I am waiting for someone to comment that 32GB tablets are a total waste of money and completely unusable - I don’t agree with this sentiment but I respect it so if you are buying it, bear that in mind and Windows Updates might be complicated.

1200 passmark so similar to my asus t100. Won't do 3ds citra. Won't do wii dolphin

I use drastic DS emulator on android which is very well optimised.

If could run emulators agree would be awesome! Anyone else tried others?

Felt like chiming in after reading your comment,
I work as an IT Technician and have just helped one of our staff upgrade her sons 32GB Windows 10 notebook.
Given the Extremely limited space installing 2 new windows builds (cumulative updates) required the use of an external drive which is less than ideal. even after stripping everything i could off the device with pretty much just windows and office installed it only had 8GB free which was barely enough for the update to even start.

So yeah i would agree, although not entirely useless they could prove frustrating for less technically adept users.

See this thread for what I was expecting:

I don’t know why free space is low but I have a Lenovo 100s and it had 20GB free out of the box. I’m not a fan of Windows updates at the best of times as each one seems to create more and more clutter, what is the point of ‘people view’ for example? I appreciate security updates are important but I don’t normally force the cumulative/big updates on it, normally because you set it to go, something goes wrong and you end up in a loop - at least I’ve seen that happen too many times to be in a rush to do them now.

Basically 32GB not ideal but for this pretty well equipped tablet for £60, I think it’s about managing expectations too.

I have the same. Its really not worth it. Its not as fast and a Windows tablet like this isn't what your looking for if you wanna buy it for watching YouTube videos and playing some games as the experience isn't the same with something like an iPad.
This is really great for indie games too. Many 2D games people clamour for on Switch can be played straight from your Steam library on this.
Would steam link work OK on this?
Can anyone recommend a screen protector/case that will suit this tablet?
I really looked forward to this on release and sold my brilliant Linx 8 tablet in preparation.

It was horrible - the tablet itself was chunky and sharp edges, not refined like the normal Linx 8. And the controller handles feel as awkward as they look.

My Linx died after less than a week (stopped charging). I was glad to be rid of it, and get my money back.

YES! YES! YES!

Anything upuntil the 16 bit era without an issue.
I have one with retroarch installed with a launchbox bigbox front end. Running final burn alpha, SNES, megadrive etc. All the neo Geo games run, cps3 not an issue. Just don't bother with PSone gen or later.

I'm not a fan of the controller, I actually pair PS4 dualshocks with it and use it as a portable retro machine. It'll also run indie Steam games like hyper light drifter, mercenary kings etc. Lol it even runs Skyrim.

I love this machine, just got to use it for what it's good at.

An iPad is literally 4-5 times the price of this. Not really a realistic comparison point, though if you want good app support then an iPad is a decent option (if you can afford one) - for the same money as this tablet you are looking at an iPad 2, a 6-year old tablet, which only goes up to iOS 9 and has just 512MB RAM.

For £60, some people are definitely expecting too much. You get a physical controller and a proper tablet for that money, it will be fine for older emulation and touch controls (on iPad or Android) are terrible for accuracy.

Can these connect to 5g networks?? Have another linx tablet and it can't which makes it rubbish for streaming games via steam.
