depends what you want to do with it. i like for emulators n64 and earlier and most older steam games works fine games from 2012/2013 low graphics and indie games work well. Xbox streaming i have issues its fine for slower games but for fast action paste games i wouldn't recommend it as steam may have lag and delay. i like buttons as the light up perfect for gaming dads playing in the night as my xbox is in the other room where my daughter is.

Very good product for streaming and basic computer use! Can even run Skyrim natively without streaming if you're intrested in that ^.^

What fps you looking at for games say from 2012?

My son got one of these in July 2016, one of his cousins stood on it and broke the glass (screen not broken in anyway) about 7 days afterwards, he still uses it daily as a stand-alone tablet and its much better than the linx 7 or 8

All kinds of no. Stop do not buy.just get a tablet and use your Xbox one controller.

Is this good for steam link streaming?

Good Grief! as Charlie Brown would say. A 108 inch screen? Good luck humping that aroumd with you.

Bastion played flawlessly and xcom enemy within playing a decent frame rate too around 25 to 30 but when characters are moving it drops a little. Most games I have are more 2d based indie games as apposed to big 3d titles I have it running dmc on the lowest setting works well it's not choppy but far from smooth its playable but don't know frame rates probably 20ish.

Great for indie games so this controller version should be even better. If indie gaming on Switch is enticing you this may be a much cheaper alternative with access to your existing Steam library.

Which is one of the reason I got it i wouldn't recommend xbox streaming as I fine it not good due to lag from xbox. It can be used for that but for action games I think the lag is a bit much. so I think it's a perfect multimedia tablet / emulation machine playing indie games ect perfect for that.

How well does this run games? What games does it run. I want someone so I can play some good games whilst on the toilet, in bed, on the Bus or Train

On the other hand. Mine streams xbox one perfectly, although for shooters the controller can be uncomfortable so reactions tend to be slower. It's ok for.evrything else. Oh and it can get a bit heavy after a time.

Lol have you tried using a controller whilst simultaneously holding a tablet. It's not easy.

Don't listen to anyone that says anything less than awesome, I use mine to download and play steam games (not streaming) and I love it so many games work. 2013 tomb raider possibly best graphically with a good fps absolute bargain at 89.99 and to the person that said get a normal tablet you wouldn't get a Windows tablet anywhere near this good for the price. Recommended any day of the week

I have installed retroarch on this little thing. Paired with a couple of Bluetooth controllers, wow this thing rocks as a mobile retro machine.

Also have some indy steam games on it.

I even got Skyrim to run on this using steam workshop low spec mods.

I love this machine. It's good if you have a specific use for it in mind, like I do.

Don't even need to use low spec mod it worked fine on mine from a straight steam download

Not too complicated just search steam in the web browser, download it then set up an account and buy what games you want and if a game doesn't work or even if you don't like it they're good for giving refunds

Sweet. I just had them autoload as I was subscribed to them.

For anyone that's interested, I even run fightcade in this thing.

Oh, and mass effect 2 runs great too.

Lol have you tried using this hunk of junk... I have o would rather balance a tablet on my knee that hold this pile of glitchy jank. I wasn't just spouting off. I actually owned one of these for months. It's horrible. Do not buy it. I am sorry if you have purchased it and are trying to defend your purchase. If you enjoy it great, but I don't think you will, uncomfortable controller placements poor construction a tablet that barely functions as a tablet due to slow processing. No thank you not even at this price not even at 20 quid.

Agreed it's controller is poorly designed but I use mine as a regular tablet daily and for small pc work and other than the odd crash (which is the tablet and not windows for a change) it's fine. As for streaming games, due to the less than ideal controller I have tried using a xbox controller but as I say cannot hold and use both. I could stick it on a stand on a desk but that would defy the point. It streams perfectly well and as long as I don't play anything that requires fast reflexes on it (shooters) it works great as a portable unit. Gta online is ok exept tricky against some of the better players when it comes to death matches etc. I do wish the controller positioning and layout had been better but if I want to play an xbox game in any room in the house I can. It's not fantastic but it's a way to a means and if I wanted to use an xbox controller with it I could.

Just a heads up for ps4 owners. Remote play works well using the inbuilt controller.

I can write a how to on the linx tablet forum if anyone wants??

Just got one of these for Christmas and would be great to stream the PS4 to it so please post a guide when you get chance, thank you
