I has this tablet. It was pretty cool, but you get what you pay for.

Throw too much at it, it'll freezes and requires a hard reset. Throw to little at it, it'll freezes and requires a hard reset.

I owned the tablet for 3 weeks before selling on.

I really liked the idea, but would love something with a stronger gpu and a higher inbuilt harddrive. It wouldn't read pc games of an sd card, and would unmount the card every time the screen went into stand by.

I did manage to get fallout 3 to work natively on the tablet, as well as Mirrors edge in high graphic settings. Burnout paradise as well.

But after that, it sat about collecting dust as I grew tired of it constantly crashing.

I have one of these and love it.
It's great for streaming steam games from my gaming rig and It's also just as good at streaming games from the Xbox one too.
The controllers not bad too, although the whole thing starts to feel quite heavy after a while.
I think we'll worth £130 (Although I was lucky enough to get mine, brand new and sealed for £100 off eBay).
Good spot OP.

good for the price, I've got a linx8 + xbox controller, and does a decent job (on the right games) good they've added more ram to this but if I got another tablet to play games on I would also want 2x micro usb, so I could charge it while having a controller / keyboard plugged in as well, and a better gpu, and battery, but all that would push costs up

Linx 1010 is what you're after £150 on Amazon with a keyboard case and 2 full sized USB ports in addition to the dedicated AC power port.

Sounds like you just got a faulty tablet. Why didn't you take it back?

One controller I saw mentioned for use with the "ordinary" Linx 8, was the iPega PG-9023. £16.55 here aliexpress.com/ite…tml (other iPega models available, but this is closest in look to the Linx Vision).

Edit: The Aliexpress listing says "The bracket is compatible with devices from 5 to 10 inch wide/long".

Is there an optional/additional keyboard dock for this as well (like the 1010B)? I see it has the magnetic connector on the bottom. I really like the look of this but it would be clinch it for me if it could have some productivity functionality (basic stuff like typing emails, MS Office).
