This would fit my vectra for great price.
I went for a Varna f18 the biggest that would fit.£28.00 more but more power and 800 cca.
Better for a diesel.
Had a Lion battery from ECP last year with same Ah and CCA as the cars original manufacturers (Varta) battery.
3 weeks later it just wasnt performing so swapped it plus a tenner for a Bosch battery.
The Lion battery was a poor battery.

BTW not sure if it works for non trade accounts (it does for my trade account) but you could try code FRIDAY5 for 5% discount when ordering online.

I have a lion battery in my car since last October its fine and I only do small journeys, but sometimes you pay what you get if I had to replace this every year it wouldn't be the end of the world

Well I would prefer not to but its hardly a massive expense really is it covered over a year
What is the benefit of this over a standard battery?
I had one of these I my car and it was spot on until I sold the car. Last time I was I euro parts the AA man came in a took 4 off these so they can't be that bad.
Also make sure this is the correct battery for your car
Euros are a nightmare for swapping duff ones if its fitted to the wrong vehicle
'able to withstand the pressures of day to day use' is not really the best marketing tag - you shouldn't have to specify whether your car battery can be used every day or not...
Some of us even start our cars several times a day!
Just what I needed, reserved and used the GIFT10 code for 10%
Thanks for the heads-up.
I could only get gift10 to work for delivery order not reservation?

Is this from actual experience and if so what came of the 3 year guarantee?
Awesome, have been needing something better to carry around and keep the iPhone charged
is this suitable for a honda diesel?...i understand diesel cars need more cranking power specially in cold winter mornings?
I bought this brand of battery for my car a few months ago - has been working well
Bought one of these, no problem at all. Hang on to the purchase invoice, just in case of an issue during the guarantee period.
My 2001 diesel car's lead battery died last December - it was the original !!!
I guess it was exceptional but not unique.
Why use Li-ion ??? To save weight or space under an old car's bonnet ?
Guinea pigs spring to mind.
Ha. Initially read this as a Li-ion battery. Thought it was a bit too good to be true oO

I have fiesta diesel and I was advised by Euro car parts to not go with lion as they don't perform great in extreme weather.
In the end decided to get exide for much more money but at least I'll be reliable.

Yes me too (_;)

Hi all, these are cheap but in my experience not so good. Already my 6 or so month old one wont hold charge for more than a week without being driven, its on charge on the drive now. Bought a Bosch one for our other car, left that car sitting for 6 months once, started fine.

no not if it is the 2.2
You need a 096 battery £61.20 before discount
I had exactly the same experience as a poster above. I bought a EuroCarParts battery. It lasted a couple of weeks. Tested the alternator. That was fine. Bought a Bosch silver battery from Costco and two years in it's still going strong. As they say. Buy cheap, buy twice............
recently bought this for just under £36 had no problems it says comes with 3 yr guarantee but that was nt on the invoice.

this is NOT a Lithium Ion battery its a battery made by some crappy company in china who stuck the name lion in it probably to fool idiots into thinking its something its not.
Lead-Acid battery technology hasn't really moved on since it was invented. In the past I have bought Exide Premiums which last around 2 years and recently, I gave in and bought a cheap "Titanium" branded car battery off eBay. It's worked just as well as a battery that costs twice as much.
With the money saved, I just bought an ultracapacitor system which charges/discharges in less than a second and has a lifespan of 15+ years.

The Porsche 911 GT3 comes with a Lithium Ion battery to save on weight ;-)
If you think this is going to last 3 years then think again.
What i will say is
1 buy cheap, buy twice
2 Keep your invoice
3 Prepare for an argument in 18 months max

Got 2 of their leisure batteries for my caravan a bit back now. The blurb on them sounded great, special matrix, deep discharge, bla, bla, they lasted a year!
