Delbhoy1967

About a metre long powered by 2 batteries, absolute crap. The kind of crap I'd buy in a heartbeat for £2, normally, and chuck in a cupboard. Lockdown must have hardened me to buying such tat. Didn't buy but voted hot anyone because..... £2, the ideal occasion for crap pineapple lights is no doubt just around the corner, until then they can sit in your cupboard (y)

lol you believe leather is natural? haha LMAO... have a look at number of chemicals used to stop skin decaying. What do you smoke? I would like some of that . (:I

KimYates

Fake leather usually has some leftovers from the corpse skin used to make leather in it (split leather) so they're not always vegan (y) I find it really helpful when fully synthetic material is labelled as vegan, saves time researching (lol)

45ure

Yep a natural product replaced with by a perochemical based one.

simonduddy

I think it was made from vegans, or maybe vegan cows?

And I have no problem with you disagreeing, I just dont agree with commercial presents for the sake of it with little thought. Personally, I'd prefer a rainbow drawing off my daughter done in class than a bought cup that's says "I couldn't be bothered to think but here's a present to say I knew it was mothers day" We each see things differently and that's ok.

So I see, and the very formal and old fashioned Grandma. I don’t like either of those or for men, I’m not keen on Pops, Papa, Gramps etc. Maybe it’s just an Scottish thing but I feel most comfortable with Granny and Grampa. It’s impossible these days to find that on Christmas cards etc.

No the cause of death is the chemicals they inject into the poor animals to make them grow faster and bigger and thats the real shame. Growth hormones etc lets be honest the planet is fecked we have polluted the rivers and air and benzene is waht is destroying us - ocd's, mental illness and all sorts of cancers have come about primarily because of the combustion engine so we have more to worry about but in general i hardly eat much meat but i do like my chooks - nothing more tasty than a Thai Coconut chicken curry - my girlfriend fed me with quorn for years but it just doesnt cut the mustard! I feel sorry for you veggies - you are missing out a lot in life - the joys of tasting real food is lost on you! And yes i eat veggie quite a lot and i have to say it is on the whole tasteless and uninspiring - or perhaps its just my girlfriends cooking talent lol Take a chill pill i am on your side in many ways and whats with the stabbing in the neck thats halal you are referring to, the humane way is with a stun bolt and electric shock! (highfive) PS. After being a veggie for 20 odd years my girlfrtiend has started to eat fish because of lack of omegas! She was advised by a doctor and she now feels much better!

ZeBadger

Humans do not need to eat meat. Eating meat is the cause of the biggest causes of early death in humans. There is a YouTube video called "uprooting the leading causes of death". It is 1 hour long, but enlightening. I presume that you haven't watched The Game Changers then. If you are worried about iodine, then there are plant sources (eg. kelp) which would enable you to not resort to having an animal stabbed in the neck on your behalf.

omendata

What about if the zombie apocalypse happens and we eat humans then is that ok? Jesus ate the fish and he ate meat so does that not mean its ok from a religious standpoint. If there is no god then we are all just animals right? so leading on from that there is no real right or wrong in this world just what human beings have constructed to be? I am actually into animal welfare in a big way and have more kind thoughts towards animals than i do humans in fact. Humans know right from wrong yet still prefer wrong whereas animals well... If you want to argue about animal welfare then the cruellest of all is Halal torture but then you veggie antifas wont have that because well...political correctness rules no? But here is the rub - humans need to eat and meat is essential for the human body to function properly. As an ex bodybuilder myself it would be impossible to make it without eating meat and iodine is essential for proper thyroid function and vegans and veggies suffer a lot from thyroid problems - Its a bit QED for me on that score! And besides i know its a sin but i do like a big maccy d cheeseburger at least once a month = whats a man to do!!! (confused) Anyway here is some good news! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-50519036

ZeBadger

Are you suggesting that because one day we might have a zombie apocalypse, that it is okay for you to pay someone to unnecessarily stab animals in the neck on your behalf? I'm quite sure that Jesus wouldn't be okay with what happens in factory farms, which is where 90% of animal flesh comes from.

omendata

Rubbish have you ever watched Naked and Afraid or Ed Stafford lol Jesus fed the 5000 with fish so if its good enough for him its good enough for us all. Veggies have loads of medical issues notably the thyroid issue and if it was truly normal and we all went back to caveman times then you would not survive seemples - fair enough in this modern age you can avoid eating meat but thats only because we have advanced tech now to supply what vegans need but if there were a zombie apocalypse you would be the first ones to go under if Tesco was shut lol (cheeky)
