It's so they can get involved in kitchen tasks without you placing them on the work surface or stand on a chair.

They are really good in the flesh, have a Kiddicare locally.

I think the cheapest through google shopping is £88 with £7 postage, this is really cheap people!

why would you put your child in the kitchen while cooking?Kitchen is a dangerous place for small kids. Better to keep them out.

Good deal I guess as its the cheapest around - but really?????

My son is 3 and pretty boisterous and he can sit on a chair or step stool safely. And if he mucks around in the kitchen its naughty step for him not a box LOL . It a bit over-engineered for me - sorry!

This is so you kids can get involved in basic kitchen activities, I'm not suggesting that deal with anything sharp or hot, but say mixing, washing up and that sort of thing.

It's not a punishment, it's so your children can be involved, so before they get bored needing attention they are already in the middle of the activity.

Cold voters are great, especially the way they inform you of where they can get the item cheaper.......

This is around a £30 saving on other retailers, if you can find it cheaper that's great, I'll order from them instead.

Are colder voters like those who expire without a reason? In that you can't tell who they are?

Thanks, I have never seen this before and can see the postive use, especially in the kitchen-toddlers around your legs etc.. better (in my humble opinion) than a playpen (always looked like a little prison to me:( )
Heat/rep added

Brilliant price, we paid nearly double this about 4 years ago! It's used by our children on a daily basis to help out or just watch us doing things at worktop level. One of our better buys and money well spent for the amount of times it's been used.

Thanks, I hope ours lasts that long!

Great idea, but does it come with a lockable lid?

Perhaps to get them involved and educate them about food? Might make the difference between having a healthy child with a good diet and having a McDonalds munching tub of lard where your child used to be ;-)... Seriously though, I make a point of getting my 3 year old daughter involved in food preparation and cooking - there's loads they can do from helping with measuring out ingredients to chopping soft foods with a plastic knife (or scissors for smaller food)... And of course what child (or slightly immature adult) doesn't like getting a bit messy now and then - plenty of opportunity for that when cooking!!

EDIT: Should add I've not voted either way as it's not exactly small change, but I can see the benefit of not having you fidgety, excitable, bundle of mischief on the side or on a chair etc!!
