Item Description

Little King's Story for Nintendo Wii is a unique collaboration between the games industry's most prodigious talents. Boasting a team of legendary designers - whose portfolios include a range of highly-acclaimed and much-loved titles such as Harvest Moon, No More Heroes, Final Fantasy XII and Super Mario RPG - Little King's Story is a funny, charming and surprisingly deep PRG, designed to appeal to both casual and core gamers alike.

Little King's Story begins with the story of young boy named Corobo. Shy, and without many friends, Corobo stumbles upon a mysterious, powerful crown while walking in the forest near his village. He soon discovers that the crown grants him the ability to charm any person, and make them follow his orders. Suddenly, Howzer, the bull-knight appears informing Corobo that he is now King of the village and that he must not take this responsibility lightly. Returning to his sleepy village as a King instead of a shy little boy, Corobo begins a quest to turn his small hamlet into a noble, fantastic kingdom.

With an art style that is very 'story-book' in look and with a magical fairy tale quality, this ground-breaking collaboration of creative talent has created a game that will intrigue and delight gamers of both casual and core groups. By combining gameplay elements from life-simulation, real-time strategy and adventure genres, Little King's Story on Nintendo Wii brings the many aspects of creating a vast kingdom come to life. As the King, players will manage and involve their townspeople in the goals of creating this new territory; enlisting them to dig for treasure, build new buildings and otherwise better their community.

Super price for a superb game!!! H+R added!!!

yup, one of the best games this year for any system, imo.

though i'm sure some fanboi will be along soon to proclaim it looks like a 'kiddy game', blah blah.

it does look like a kiddy game, but that's not my problem. my problem is it seems very linear and quite boring to play... good price though i paid £3 more a month ago.

i mean, its ok as a time waster, but not especially fun to play imho. good value in hours per £ though. be aware that its an RPG with slightly awkward controls. at least its not turn based

I bought this a few months ago but only started playing it last night... coincidence!

So far, I think the game looks quite good. The music/soundtrack sounds familiar too.

Looks good, but I'll wait until it is under a tenner I think..............

That's because the entire soundtrack is out of copyright, public domain classical music.

this game is soo boring really over rated :lazy:

it's quite good fun for awhile. certainly worth the price. got good reviews overall when you look at metacritic. i put it down for a bit to give Anno - Create a New World a go, which is taking my time at the moment, but that is quite limited in some respects, so will be back on this soon enough. It has it's annoyances like any game, but it's good for the money.
