Got last copy in asda Washington. Was previously 25P. Lady was more than shocked.

Also got Watch Dogs 2 for £7.50.

Should be national as other games.

Somebody hold that goose!

HDUK needs to have a seperate section for these goose chase deals, they are bloody annoying (mainly because my local stores never have them lol)

The only current-gen game in the sale section of my local ASDA was Watch Dogs 2 on Xbox One down from £52 to £30...

Politely ask the asda colleague that if they can check the drawer, there are always some cheap games sitting there.

Stop it now, i'm getting nauseous. All these insane gaming deals. My local supermarkets are useless when it comes to games. Also no one wanted it at 25p!
£10 cash for this at CEX! = 9,900% profit

That's the problem with ASDA - it's rarely a deal at all stores. Their managers appear to ave discretion to do what they like, highly doubtful you'll find this same deal in another store.

Do you ask to see the games cabinet though like the OP mentioned above in a comment?

All price drops help for when I look. I am lucky as I have got some bargains in mine

Wrong, you can use either. Certainly math is much more widely used in the US and Canada. Bit like telling someone it's colour and not color. Life is too short anyway.

I did and it's perfectly fine.
Really enjoyable game!

Wrong. We don't live in America! -

gov.uk/gov…pdf

"4.3.2 Spelling
Where there is a difference between British English spellings and those found in other
varieties of English, it is the British English spelling that is creditworthy. This applies to
words such as colour, catalogue or theatre, for which there are no alternative spellings in
a standard dictionary of British English, unless they are clearly marked as an American
variant.

There are other words for which alternative spellings are acceptable within British English
(e.g. organise/ organize). These are shown as equal alternatives in a standard dictionary of
British English and are not marked as a variant from any other country. Either spelling of
such words is considered creditworthy in the test."

So Americans should type differently depending on what country they are in? If you are not joking and that's how you truly feel you really are quite small minded.

Did Washington ASDA have any other games reduced? where were they just in the entertainment section?

All i I see in Washington is display boxes
‘Math’ is the correct term, regardless of country

You quoted information relating to a test. If I were to sit an English test and wrote color I would't expect to 'get credit' as your quote says, but what in gods name has that got to do with the price of eggs.
Struggling to see the point in these supermarket deals. Very rarely is it national and only applies to select stores. And even if prices are discounted, chances are there will be nothing left by the time you get time to have a look. As happened to me last night - the woman went to collect the games from the stock room and there was nothing left. So while it's great if you live local to whoever posts the deal or are one of the lucky ones, I think it's a stretch to call it a deal that most users of this app/website can take advantage of. I agree with someone else that there should be a separate section, if that's possible. But still... good luck everyone 🤞

British use of the words
American use of the words

If math is so wrong why do so many British people us it? Term math started in 1890, maths in 1911, weird that the wrong one started first . One is an American variant, one is a British, neither is wrong.

Two things

1. I never said it was wrong, quite the opposite in fact

2. As a teacher of Math I didn’t need your pointless graph or explanation , but thanks for the use of google anyway
Imagine arguing geography on a deals website.

I know it's only mid January but I predict this off topic math/maths hijack will not be topped for pettiness this year.
Petty squabbling aside...
Why was this even posted? These deals are store specific, not nationwide. You mentioned you got the last copy from your store aswel.
Therefore, this post is just for bragging in my opinion, plus there’s no proof of this offer, ie. receipt?
Either way at 10p I’m jealous
Edited by: "KoopaDuckie" 17th Jan
I don't think it's a store specific deal. I visited my local ASDA a few weeks ago and took one of the empty boxes from the shelf to the customer services desk - they confirmed the game was scanning at 25p but unfortunately they were out of stock.

"Math" is perfectly acceptable, but thanks for the opinion Chuck.
All time best deal for a ps4 game 👌
