When my son outgrew his Cosy Coupe I was giving it to a friend and, as I was between cars, decided to take it on the bus (obviously having a less than sane day, looking back on it! :p) It DOES actually fit and the driver asked why I was getting a bus when I had a car.....:)

Great deal

thank you been after 1 for sons bday! perfect! x

Many a days fun lifting it off the ground and spinning the kids around like a fairground ride. Great (and very tough) toy. Heat added

Word of warning ---- These are insanely difficult to put together!

Need to put mine together soon. Any advice?

Follow the instructions and you will be fine. I managed it in a drunken state last Christmas.

I think there's an online video as well to help. I never managed to work out which wheel was which

Having assembled 2 of these inside the home v easy; check the wheel bits order before hammering cap on - which needs a concrete/brick surface to take the hammer blow

a hand held Phillips screwdriver for the 5/6 screws and easy peasy - even with 4 year old "helping"!

Also, aftersales for little tykes is superb - one of our older cousins managed to rip the door off of one of our coupes, wrecked the hinges.

I phoned their customer service helpline to ask how much a replacement door would cost - they sent me a replacement (including the sticker decals (nice touch)) for free, even paid the postage for me. I think only little tykes and brabantia have ever given me aftersales service as good as that.

Needless to say, all of our garden playthings are now little tykes.

Follow instructions and use decent screw drivers
Dont use a electric drill , to easy to knacker the platic
Its tough to put together as it will be sturdy once finished and will last for years
Make sure you put the wheels on the correct sides is a mistake people often do
The ones who say its tough have probably got soft hands from years of console playing
Think it took me about half hour and i didnt rush as was the first one ive done

Thanks everyone for their advice on putting it together. I heard from a friend about the issues of putting the wheels on correctly. Luckly they got a replacement part free of charge from Little Tikes too.

No need to apologise (_;)

Thanks for posting! Just a couple of questions?

* We are thinking of this for our little one's 1st birthday in July. Will this be too old for him or can we get it, build it and push him around in it until he is older?

* I'm not great at DIY but can put together IKEA style flat pack furniture. Will I cope with this?

My little one is one next month and I am about to build ours. I went to a indoor playcentre and they had a few so I tried it out. He loved it. I will be putting the floor panel in as my 11 month old will slid out if I don't. I will then remove the floor panel when he is a bit older. I am intending to go to my friends house (their little girl owns one) on a regular babsis and trying my little boy on theirs until I am conformtable that he doesn't need the floor panel.

They all have a handle/hole at the top at the back so us parents have the pleasure of pushing our little ones around until they can use their little legs and be independently mobile.

Maybe try going to places like mothercare where they are normally on display and put your little one in it and see how you go?

I would be inclined to buy at this great price if you have storge space. The box isn't as big as I thought it would be.

Sorry I can't comment on the assembling. I am planning to build it this week or so but please see the other comments on this post.

Put it together today. It's a little tricky but fine with a bit of perseverance!
