Little Tikes Oslo Wooden Swing Set £99.99 In Store ONLY Toys R Us

Similar to the recent Asda deal for the Little Tikes Riga swing set this is marginally cheaper though you'll have to collect it yourself to get this price. Online price is £149.99 though reduced to £99.99 for collection.
The swing set is a heavy wooden construction (wooden sections weighing around 50Kg in total) with steel joint pieces and is treated to survive our weather for many years. FYI, suggestion is the wooden poles are set into concrete though mine has yet to be delivered(purchased the Riga from Asda) so cannot confirm.

Worth calling the store before you go. I reserved this morning online (showing as in stock) though received a call from the store to say they were OOS.

Would agree about setting poles in concrete, or at least attaching decent stakes (not tent pegs!) for 2 reasons.Firstly there's no cross bracing (not a good design IMO) which means there's a lot of strain on the metal connector to stop the legs spreading apart. And then there's safety, potentially if the weight of the children is heavy enough, and swung quite high, it'd be unlikely to topple over, but could lift the legs from the ground, and then drop again jolting the whole frame, which would probably hurt, but they could also fall off.
I speak from experience as my son had a similar one.

FYI, stock very limited (ie none) in Central Scotland. My order failed to arrive in East Kilbride today.
Why advertise this on television when there are none to sell? Maybe Asda will get the finger out and deliver the Little Tikes Riga I ordered in March. :-)
