I might email them and see if they will add it to that deal too.

Purchase the watch from the link and choose the buy now pay later option. You will get 20% of the purchase addded back as credit so you don't pay the full £279 on credit but will pay £223.20. You can then claim £50 cashback via Samsung hence bringing it down to £173.20. You will still have the buy now pay later balance of £223.20 - it won't reduce that amount but you could pay the £50 cashback into your account to bring the balance down.

Hello, can you help me, I don't understand how can I buy it for 173.20

Yeah as far as I can read as one Littlewoods and the other is Samsung.. Getting the heat there now. Lol

Oh damn really, you can still do it on top?

Haha. Bargain hunt! Should be £391, probably hit 400 with OS and cables.

Damn you're an intelligent PC to be able to browse websites independently, read specific comments and respond directly back. All of this for under £400, where can I buy you?

Mad? Hardly. Littlewoods cater to those who are cash poor... and they pay way over the odds for that 'service'. £7.22 X 156 weeks = £1126.32 !!! (ninja) (ninja) (ninja) (ninja) (ninja)

I'm a PC with the same processor, twice the ram and a 256gb SSD for under £400... So this is... Expensive.

Integrated graphics for £669.99. Have a laugh, you have to be made to buy this.

LG OLED55B8S 55 Inch 4K Ultra HD HDR, Smart, Dolby Atmos, OLED TV With Freeview Play. 20% off on top if you Buy now pay later. Total price works out at £1040.

they answer to your question is they will allow you to pay in, but it doesnt count towards your credit limit so you're wasting your time

You need a credit limit of over £2.5k as they take the credit into consideration when you purchase. I doubt anyone will have this unless you're a regular shopper there. You can credit the account with cash to take you limit up either.... This post Is very misleading........the very few might be able to get it but dont bother trying if you are new to LW and applying for a credit limit to get this.

I went to apply for this and they offered less than a grand credit limit - hilariously low! (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)

Word of warning don't bother wasting your time transferring money to top up your littlewoods account to buy this tv if your credit limit is too low... If your agreed credit limit doesn't cover the purchase price + interest payments. It doesn't work, full stop.

The stand is only difference

Well, if Littlewoods are happy to knock them out at £1300, there must be a pretty good margin on this OLED from the distributors. I don't think we're far off seeing B8s selling for near £1000, without dealing with companies that specialise in luring poor people into high-interest deals.

:/ where does it say 'decide' :/ it says the credit is automatically applied on eligible items.

So, if I understand this right, if they 'decide' that they will not apply the credit to your BNPL order, you're pretty much shafted.

This is a very good deal but the explanation is awful I'm afraid.

This is £2999 now. I think they realised it was too cheap

Heat for the deal, shame they don't do the 65" C8. Am I correct in assuming Littlewoods will run you through a credit check even if you go through the process, but pay off balance immediately?

Not in this case. Same £2,299 everywhere but only standard warranty. With the saving of £460 after the 20% cash back you can purchase an extended warranty and still have change. Just a bit more work to make that saving.

Very good price and can’t find it cheaper elsewhere just can’t bring myself to invest with only a one year warranty. I suppose LG will offer to extend it through D&G but not sure what that would cost. Heat if you’re willing to take the gamble though.

Good price for the TV. (y)

:) Thats me NOT reading the small print.. So used to there being a catch...Some companies dont always let you pay it off. Cheers for the clarification.

Why would you go to Littlewoods where everything is overpriced ? You would be better going to Very where the TV's are cheaper and getting 10% back ?

Well i noticed a couple times that they match Very for LG Oled B7 for £1.3k and 4yrs interest free but not on bnpl

It is possible to pick up a bargain with these type of Littlewoods deals. Usually when an item is on sale and they forget to inflate it when the offer goes live. Rare, but it does happen.

A quick Google search for me shows that most telly's have an additional £100 to £200 on the current RRP. Cold from me.

So whats to stop you from using your account credit to pay 25% off the tv at the end of the BNPL period? It does seem a bit vague on how it works.

BNPL offer is a 25% account credit. It doesn't bring the price down to the stated amount. Useful if you are looking to buy other stuff, but not otherwise

So last year's 6000 is comparable to this year's 7000. And last year's 7000 to this year's 8000. 55mu7000 has been £649 with a 5 year warranty, so is this £140 extra to have a 2018 sticker on the back and only 1 year of warranty? To be honest I wouldn't touch a tv with 1 years warranty when you get above £250.

its curved tho

Pay using BNPL to get 25% off. But you only get 1 year warranty. Including 4 year warranty it comes to £1215 if the discount also applies to service plan.

Problem is oled panels are only made by a hand full of manufacturers so the market is still being price controlled. Standard 4k LCD screens are made by lots of companies and the manufacturing costs are no where near as much.

I think this may go below 1200 or even 1100 if still in stock after world cup. Currently all major stores still stock this.

Really? Surely as tech gets more bought it will come down? Not saying it will genuinely wondering. almost bought an ex display hisense 65 uhd hdr for £525 with 5yr warranty last night but decided to still hold off

You would have prove the fault was inherent i.e. existed from the time of purchase. This would mean getting an independent expert's report (at your own cost). Hence for the vast majority of consumers the law is for all intents and purposes useless ! Like someone said you would be better of with an extended warranty on an expensive purchase.

It's a lot of hassle. You're better off paying for the warranty.

10% new credit user on electricals i think.

Don't statutory rights protect for 6 years anyways ... So the whole 6 year warranty is just by extension converting the statutory period?

Hisense H65N5750UK 65 Inch, 4K Ultra HD Certified, Freeview Play, Smart TV £599.99 with 25%% off BNPL @ Littlewoods
Found 22nd MayFound 22nd May £100 cheaper than elsewhere (£700) with 12m 0% and 25% off credit to account (embarrassed)

Just for anyone swithering between this set and the N6200 - I was in Costco Edinburgh today and saw the N6200 with a decent display source - a file called “World Cup 4K demo-100mbps.mp4” which looked to be a mix of real life footage and FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer video game footage. It’s about a 3-4 minute video that is on loop. The set is undoubtedly impressive and no sign of the vertical banding that I suffer from on my Sony 65W855C. That said, a couple of minor niggles - the footage did feel slightly juddery once or twice, and the crowd - particularly on the video game - seemed to flicker very slightly. Unfortunately it created enough doubt in my mind to rule this one out as an upgrade option.

That’s probably as Limitations Act/ Prescription & Limitations Act Scotland & Consumer Protections Act (and now Consumer Rights Act) are all stronger stronger than the EU Directive anyway, but no “new” item should be packaged/displayed less than 2 years as per EU rules, national laws above only have to meet the EU minimum - we have 6 or 5 (Scotland)

Most retailers/manufacturers still quote consumer right act which doesn't mention this 2 year warranty

Just noticed sorry! Warranty is 2 yrs in EU

Between credit available and cash payment in it should cover the amount of purchase and the BNPL interest they apply to the account, the total is on the second last page of the order screen when you select BNPL before order is confirmed. Go through the order again till that page and get the amount between cash & credit ;)

Thanks for your reply. But how much do i have to pay to make this set and ready for it?
