I only bought one just to try it. Will be back tomorrow for more
Too much hassle to use the light switch
How many lumens are these? I had a brief look but couldn't see, just said save 86% on a 40w bulb which would make it about 5w?

No worries!
I mentioned it to my electrician friend and he said that this is a steal for that price. I didn't know it was a bargain till he said so, so I posted it here

Oh, is it not a fixed LED? I got the non-sensor one as the bathroom light died last night, was reduced to £7 and is 1050 lumens but is a fixed LED array rather than a fitting.

No, it's not. It's an E27 screw in bulb.

The frosted glass cover comes off, so the 5.5 W led bulb could be changed to a brighter one.
Not a lot of information regarding size of light or bulb type.
Anyone have any idea, wouldn't mind a couple for the kitchen.

The size is about 27 cm diameter and uses a E27 5.5W led bulb. Hope this helps.
Obviously in store only?

I believe so. I don't think Lidl does online shopping yet.
Not only is this a good price but indoor ones are hard to find. Think I paid about 3 x this for something similar. We put them in the shared hallways of rental properties.
I am assuming that as it is suitable for outdoor use it should be OK for a bathroom

Yes, I'm going to check my local Lidl tomorrow.
Buy one for the bathroom, then maybe two more for the kitchen if they're any good.
Does it have a light sensor or will it turn on during the day as well?

Assume automatic switch on means it does but just checking

Might be good for our hallway as we come in
do these have to be wired in
Cheers Op, got the last one in my local... Ciren
Thanks Op, just picked one up.
Can these be used as normal lights too?
I want to put two in the kitchen but fear my dogs will keep setting one of the lights off as it would be directly above their pen.
Don't want them waking everytime they move, or can you adjust the sensitivity?

I don't think you can turn the sensor off completely, I set mine on the lowest distance, which is 1.2m and it doesn't turn on if the cat walks by, mind you dogs are bigger.
We just turn it off by the switch at night when we go to sleep.

So it does have a light sensor?

I saw these last night and there was no indication that it did have a light sensor. If it doesn't, then it will just come on all the time when it senses movement... Which kinda defeats the purpose.

Would anyone who has bought/installed one be able to confirm that it only is activated by movement from dusk/dark onwards, and not during the day too?

See picture above.
I’m having issues with setting it up to only come on when it gets dark!! Followed all the instructions but none the wiser! Can anyone tell me what settings it should be to only come on in the evening? At the moment it operates all day too!!

7,8 and 9 control the LUX level setting. I have mine set at 10LUX, it will operate the light on a really dark rainy day but if it's a fairly bright day it stays off, you can go as low as 2 LUX, that should mean the light only coming on at night.

To get 2 LUX you would need 7,8 and 9 in the on (up) position.

Got last one from our local.
30% off, replaced bulb with 9w much brighter.
I bought 12 of these from my local store. For corridor lighting. I'm after another 20 search everywhere. Can I buy them direct on line? Maybe from the manufacturers.
I am having issues with this light.I kept it on 2 lux setting but it will switch on randomly and then not turn off.
Is there a way of resetting the sensor or is mine a faulty one
Does 2 lux mean it will stay on in dark or it will detect motion and then switch on
